Guitarist/songwriter Jorma Kaukonen has been live sreaming performances on youtube for the last 5 saturday nights. Big help, Jorma, Thanks!
(Fur Peace Ranch youtube channel.)

Both of my favorite “frontmen you’ve probably never heard of” have been doing a lot of Facebook videos and some concerts. They have definitely been huge helps to me.

:diamonds: Fred LeBlanc of Cowboy Mouth*

:diamonds: Gabe Dixon
*I do know there are some other Mouth fans here.

Thanks for the tip! We could all use a little more Jorma in our lives right now.

Been listening to a lot of John Prine, for the obvious reason other than that he’s great. Really loving “Lake Marie,” which Bob Dylan called his favorite Prine song.

Judee Sill. 1970s singer/songwriter, died 1979. The NY Times did one of their “obits for women and POCs that we didn’t bother to cover back they originally died” for her a month or two back. Really talented women, beautiful tunes, lovely voice. And she only made two albums before her label dumped her, so you listen to her entire oeuvre in less than two hours.

This post prompted me to Google her: turns out she wrote Lady-O, my favorite Turtles song!

Judee sings it

The Turtles sing it

SF Jazz has been airing concerts every Friday for $5 plus whatever you want to put in the “tip jar”. Some good stuff so far.

Been watching some Masterpiece series like “Baptiste” and “Beecham House”. Also the latest “Bosch” season. Watched both seasons of “After Life”.
