Well, honestly, I have no way of knowing that you haven’t read a comic book since the 70’s.
I may just change my username to “Currently Dead.”
I’ve been out of the loop for a while, but last I knew of the Vision, he’d been brought back (in teenage form) for Young Avengers. I think he’s currently based his personality on the memories of Iron Lad (who himself was a time displaced younger version of Kang/Immortus/Scarlet Centurian/etc etc etc.) rather than on Wonder Man like the adult version was for a good chunk of his “life”.
Bats is dead?
So who’s taken over? Robin? Nighthawk? Terry?
Dick Grayson.
Well, I’m guessing Bats won’t stay dead either. (how’d he die BTW?).
He wasn’t prepared.
But seriously, battle with Darkseid.
More importantly, Darkseid took out Batman (who’d just taken out Darkseid) by the Omega Sanction. Which means that Bruce is dead, but is also being reborn into a series of successively worse alternate realities. So he’s both dead and alive, at the same time.
Great, Schrödinger’s Batman.
It depends on what comic books you read, I guess. In many of fhe comics I like (if not, indeed, most of the comics I like), a whole lot of the characters end up getting killed to death, or else catching their death of something.
ROFL!
As long as Bucky and Uncle Ben are still dead.
Though, I seem to remember there was talk of bringing Bucky back.
Bucky’s been back for a while now. Or are you being sarcastic?
No, just ignorant.
I thought the rule was, “Only Bucky and Uncle Ben will remain dead,”
Well, he was mentioned in post #2 of this thread as being the new Captain America.
It was, but rules were made to be broken. Bucky came back as the anti-hero Winter Soldier a few years ago, and took over the mantle of Captain America when Steve Rogers was assassinated a year or two ago.
Amen. And the notion that these folks will actually remain dead gives me hope.
Hope I had given up when Frank Poole* was brought back.
*Not comics, sorry.
But it was still lame.
So he was. I must have blocked it out.
Article on Captain America returning.
Apparently no one’s been cast for the movie, which will start filming next year.
Oy. It completely redefined lame for me. In ways not even Garden of Rama did.
