Petsmart–can’t tell you how much I drop in there between the store, Banfield, and the PetHotel. Plus that’d be one less place for homeless pets to be displayed for adoption.
JCPenney’s–being long and tall, they have the best jeans and corduroys for me.
New Balance–gotta have the xtra wides, plus they have trail and walking type shoes in colors other than white and plastic.
The restaurant my fiance works for. It’s happened twice in the past two years. He’s on his third restaurant.
I’d be lost if Fashion Bug closed. They actually have decent close for plus sized women in fashionable styles. And they don’t look like something you’d go clubbing in (Deb); it’s stuff real adult women can wear. I love it.
My local game store did close a few months ago. It sucked. A lot. Especially since there was nothing wrong with the business itself, but it was caught up in some shady financial dealings. Some folks tried to get their own store started but it fell through a few weeks ago. That sucked even more.
That’s doubly bad news. Lots of airplanes rely on XM satellites for weather and traffic alerts while aloft. Hopefully those screens won’t suddenly go blank.
Probably Rod’s Western Store in Columbus, Ohio, because they have some wonderful horse stuff for not a lot of $$. And they’re very nice people too.
Also, the hair salon where I go now for my cut/color. After 3 years of struggling to find a good shop, I’d hate to have to go thru that search again. It’s worse than trying to find a good doctor!
Qantas. I have a lifetime Qantas Club membership which lets me into all Qantas, American Airlines and British Airways lounges (provided I’m flying with one of those airlines). I would hate to lose my lounge access as all Golden Wing members did when Ansett Airlines collapsed.
