European cars are expensive to maintain. But if you are a * driver* you will gladly put up with the extra expense for the pleasure of carving up a winding road, or how the seats are truly superior. The Asian cars for the most part just can’t measure up.
If you lump cars into the appliance category buy Asian or American you will be happier.
The answer is Germany.
mangeorge, I assure you there is nothing cheap or shoddy about a 325i exhaust system. Actually, I would assume you are talking about a 2002 exhaust from your description, which is the coolest tailpipe on any car! And M3’s are not shit.
Vote goes to the Japanese but in terms of looks, the Italians do it best.
