The Two Towers
The Two Towers and Nemesis.
I suspect both will do well at the box office.
Gangs of New York
I have to concur with Smeghead: what’s up with the Drumline boomlet? It’s Bring It On without the athletic hardbodied young women doing flips and splits in short skirts…which is pretty much the only thing that drew me to BIO.
I also concur with The Two Towers being the only absolute must-see. I think Catch Me If You Can and Gangs of New York both look good, but the Leo factor is hard for me to get past.
The Two Towers, of course.

The Hours
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind
…though the last four probably won’t show up where I live until 2003.
The Two Towers is my only must see.
The Two Towers is it. The wife is making noise about Solaris, so I may end up at that, but I can take or leave it.
Put me down for The Two Towers, and also Catch Me If You Can, but I’m not sure why. I’ve yet to catch Far From Heaven, about which I’ve heard good things, so probably that. Anything that looks like Oscar bait and halfway decent, I’ll probably see, because I think the Oscars suck, but I still like to have seen the Best Picture contenders. So that way, I can complain with in an educated manner.
And Nemesis if I make it.
The Two Towers - the idea of not seeing this paralyzes me with horror
Nemesis - already seen it
Chicago
And maybe, if I find myself in the right mood, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
Two Towers.
We are taking the day off work. Having a dozen people come by our house a showing of the extended Fellowship at 9:00am, and then going to the theatre - we already have tickets.
Hubby only sees maybe three movies in the theatre a year.
Nothing that hasn’t been written already…

And since it seems to be getting so many accolades, The Hours.
*Movies I will probably actually see in theaters and not rent. (I see a lot of movies.)
I’m definitely seeing The Two Towers. My dad wants to see Star Trek, so I’ll probably go see that, just because he doesn’t really want to go alone.
As for Drumline, I’m still trying to figure out what college band doesn’t have tons of…ah…pep? Fun? I don’t know what to call it. All of the college bands I’ve ever seen have wild drumlines, especially the local college, thus, the storyline seems a bit contrived to me. (Though two guys from my marching band did go see it solely to see their respective instrument lines.)
