All boards I’ve ever taken a part of have either been fishing or MTG message boards. So pretty much all the ladies are guys. What complicates the issue even more is that I rarely read the poster’s username. So pretty much they have to have a very girly username or talk about their lady parts or something. Then, I have to talk myself out of thinking it’s some guy pretending to be a girl.
Oh and gay guys who talk about their boyfriends often get treated as females. Some men also have girly names, like Tabby Cat apparently, which complicates matters even more. Again, I blame fishing message boards, which are 99% male.
Good thing I rarely look at the usernames.
