Boy, is Friends such a touchy subject that so many otherwise intelligent people are willing to so blithely ignore the conditions set out by the OP? If I were him/her, I’d be disappointed at all the “bad info” I was getting. 
Either Ross or Joey-Though I think killing Ross could be considered euthanasia. At this point, his psyche reminds me more than anything else of a flower vase that’s been stuffed in a canvas sack and smacked a few times.
And as for Joey…his eye offends me.

I want Phoebe’s twin sister Ursula to wake up and find out it was all a dream.
Which would inevitably lead to the NBC spinoff series “Chandler!” running every Tuesday night at 8, starring Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing, a single dad in the big city raising his daughter alone (named something trendy, like “Madison”) and juggling fatherhood with his crazy career and trying to find a little romance. Of course, the comic relief would be provided by none other than Janice, plus the wacky characters at Chandler’s office (the running joke would be that even with 40% of the show taking place in his office, they’d still never exactly explain what he does for a living.)
The show would lurch through twelve weeks of half-assed jokes and laff tracks before being finally, mercifully cancelled. Then Perry would really start hitting the pills and the booze, leading to an extended rehab stay, followed by a comeback that would feature at least one apologetic, soft-focus cover of “People” with a headline like

How He Came Back From Depression And Drugs
Perry’s career would stall on his second failed series (“Everyone Likes Matt”) and then he’d slide into a life of rich idleness around Hollywood. By 2016 he’ll be a regular on “The Newest Hollywood Squares,” and soccer moms and insurance salesmen would ask to “Go with Matthew Perry for the win!” every day at 3:30. And, on the SDMB Message Board, sometimes around 2021, someone will start a thread in Cafe Society, asking “What is Matthew Perry famous for, anyway?”
That is what killing off Monica in childbirth will bring to the world.

I’m going to have to say Rachel, simply because she’s frigged things up for the gang more than anyone else. Ross may be a dolt, but at least he’s usually the only one who has to live with the consequences.
