Which goddess are you - a quiz

So here’s my “Greek God” results:

30% Hermes (I can live with “clever and witty”.)
20% Hephaestus (“Extraordinarily creative”/“lame, ugly, and awkward”–the truth hurts :D)
20% Apollo (“Balanced”–who woulda guessed?)
10% Zeus (I loathe politics.)
10% Dionysus (Paaaarrrrty! Hey, I brew my own mead!)
10% Hades (Antisocial. Yup. And I offer solutions instead of sympathy sometimes. Deal with it.)
0% Poseidon (Would’ve expected to rate higher on the “difficult personality” meter. Well, at least I’m not a cold fish. :D)
0% Ares (I’m a lover, not a fighter. So why do I spend more time engaging in martial arts than sex? )

33.3% Aphrodite
33.3% Athena
16.7% Artemis
8.3% Hera
8.3% Demeter

This and the god site seem to be a bit biased though. All the goddesses are put in a favorable light, while all the gods are negative (I took TG’s for him, the way you’re supposed to…)

41.7% Aphrodite
25% Artemis
16.7% Hera
16.7% Athena
0% Hestia
0% Persephone
0% Demeter

Hmmmm… according to this, I should be getting laid a lot more.

Ok, here is what I came up with on my sweetie

40% Apollo “Self-aware, balanced, rational” Yep “can be detached and dispassionate” nope

30% Hermes “clever, witty” Yep

20% Dionysus “have a way of making women feel more feminine, blissful and comfortable” Yep

10% Hades doesn’t fit at all, but I know which question contributed to this, and should have picked another answer (since I see how they interpreted my response) Of course, there is a little bit of the devil in him.

No Hephaestus (which there should have been) No Poseidon or Zeus (which is correct)

25% Athena, 25% Persephone, 25% Artemis, 16.7% Aphrodite(“Men are drawn to you like bees to flowers”. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAA!!!), 8.3% Hera.

16.7% Hera… Yep, I’m fulfilled.

16.7% Persephone… That’s why people tell me that I am empathic.

16.7% Athena… I agree, women can accomplish anything men can unless it involves calligraphy and snow.

8.3% Demeter… No. I’m actually learning how to say this more often.

0% Aphrodite… No freaking kidding.

Now for the real man’s test…

30% Apollo… "They are noble, reasonable and usually quite handsome. " Can I argue with this?

20% Hephaestus… “extraordinarily creative, interested in the arts and dedicated to their work.” Aphrodite was his wife, it seems like I got lucky too.

20% Hades… "They are familiar with dark emotions and do not shy away from them. " Wanna see something really scary??

10% Zeus.
10% Dionysus.
10% Hermes.

0% Poseidon.
0% Ares.

50 freakin’ percent Apollo.
Various things this means for me:

Well, except the musician bit…

oooohhhhhh yeah. oh yeah. For sure!

Describes me almost to a fault.

Yeah, baby.

Points that dont fit with me: fear of love; tendency for revenge; being controlling and dispatched.

Man, I sound like I’m advertising here. See, I would’ve thought myself to be more Ares, what with the swording and whatnot, but then I read his description. Jealousy, loves conflict, and runs away when wounded. Odd how good these things can be.

Anyway, here’s my breakdown:

Apollo - 50%
Hades, Dionysus, Zeus, Hermes, Ares - 10%
Hephaestus, Poseidon - 0%

I would’ve thought I’d get SOME of Heph, for the metal thing, but hey, they cant be all right.

Whoa, Long one. Oh well. Enjoy.

Which Goddess Are You?

41.7% Aphrodite
…your femininity and passionate spirit are the controlling forces in your life. You tend to be charismatic and self-assured, comfortable with your body and unrestrained sexually.

33.3% Artemis
…your independent spirit belongs to no one but yourself. Your body is vibrant, your attitude robust and your manner vigorous and alive. You are driven by physical rather than mental energy.

16.7% Hera
…you tend to find fulfillment in relationships and look on marriage as a permanent union. In marriage, you feel no sense of frustration or resentment, because you are an equal partner with your spouse.

8.3% Athena
…you are bright-eyed, shrewd, resourceful and inventive. With friends, you are the wise counselor

0% Hestia
…you understand the value of having your own sacred place

0% Persephone
…you have most likely experienced great loss in your life

Well, for the chick version I have to say that its pretty accurate, and pretty close to how I hope to be perceived. Neglecting the whole femininity aspects and all ;). There were a few aspects that were lacking in the questions, and I don’t think thats a guy vs chick thing. I mean there was never a single point there TV was listed as an option…as if men are the only couch potatos.

The Greek God Test

30% Poseidon
…he was not a faithful husband. …can inspire positive change in your life, their adventurous nature sometimes gets the better of them, leading them to encourage risky behavior. Poseidon men may also be quarrelsome; they have a reputation for having difficult personalities.

20% Zeus
…has two very different aspects of his personality. He was believed to be the god of justice and mercy and protector of the weak. Yet he was also known as a lecherous, philandering husband …like to be in control of their work and personal lives. …born politicians. They are intellectual and surround themselves with people who admire and respect them. While they are capable of passion (Zeus men are great lovers) and even romance (heck, they’ll do just about anything to get a girl!), they’re not skilled at forming long-lasting, monogamous bonds. In fact, in relationships, Zeus men are often aloof and incapable of experiencing the inner growth that comes from being in committed, long-term relationships.

20% Dionysus
…have a mysterious quality that often draws the attention – and sometimes the worship – of women. They are imaginative, intuitive and inspirational. Dionysus men are good and gentle to those who respect and pay attention to them, but to those who wrong them, they are dangerous foes. Dating a Dionysus man can feel blissful and comfortable (they have feminine qualities), and don’t be surprised if any former inhibitions you once had suddenly disappear. Falling for such a man usually means falling hard, which can make the breakup (if there is one) much more painful. Dionysus men have a way of making women feel more feminine, and often more emotional, too. They bring a sense of freedom that can feel liberating, yet also scary. For those who can handle this newfound flexibility and freedom, a relationship with a Dionysus man can be life changing in the most positive way; for those who cannot handle this sudden departure from a routine, ordered existence, such a relationship can be disturbing, even destructive.

10% Hermes
…has both positive and negative qualities. Men who embody Hermes’ qualities are friendly and can bring great gain – often unexpected – to people. However, they can also be crafty and deceiving, and may have reputations as tricksters. Hermes men are not especially heroic or dignified, but they are clever and witty. Hermes men are full of energy and spontaneity, and delight in spurring friends out of their routine. If you are with a Hermes man, no doubt he enjoys discussing his dreams and goals and encourages you to value your own. Hermes men are constantly trying to move forward and transform – themselves and those close to them.

10% Hades
…may be rather grim, but they are not evil. That said, they are often unforgiving, unpitying and rather hard-hearted. If your man is like Hades, don’t be surprised if he is not satisfied with his lot in life, as Hades was displeased when he became ruler of the underworld while his brothers controlled the sky and the sea. Typically antisocial, Hades men are more comfortable at home alone. They are familiar with dark emotions and do not shy away from them. And while Hades men are not especially sympathetic, they can help others learn from bad experiences. Hades men can bring enlightenment and renewal to your life. Watch out, though, because they are often the trigger of loss and suffering.

10% Apollo
…may have a youthful quality, which can spell trouble. …are capable of growth. As mature adults, they are characterized as self-aware, balanced, rational and eager to live a harmonious, honest life (evolved Apollo men never lie). They are noble, reasonable and – usually – quite handsome. They go for neat, well-kept women who fit into their ordered lives. Falling in love scares Apollo men because it can be so chaotic and unexplainable. Yet they do seek love and are displeased when their love is not returned. If you ever break up with an Apollo man, watch out - their revenge can be harsh. In love, they insist on controlling the relationship, and can also be detached and dispassionate.

0% Hephaestus
…extraordinarily creative, interested in the arts and dedicated to their work; their talents are their strong suit. They are not comfortable when it comes to love and seem lost in the world of intimacy, yet they like children.

0% Ares
…thrive on conflict. As lovers, they may pick fights, display jealousy and act impulsively. Ares men are competitive, adventurous and live life to the fullest. Men who embody Ares qualities have a passionate for instinct for life - and love! Their unlimited energy can be used positively or negatively. While their mindless aggression can get them into criminal trouble, their assertiveness, courage and quest for achievement can lead to revolutionary advances in business, sports and elsewhere.

It was hard to answer some of these questions because of the way it asks from the outside, and asks what things drive you nuts about “him”. I think i have a few of those qualities, but how do i say which quality is most annoying to some fictional chicky. Fun, but oddly I think pretending to be a woman is more easily converted to my personality than it is to do the guy version and answer everything as to how I’m perceived.

I also noticed that the goddesses point out the good points of the women they represent, but the gods point out the bad points of the men they represent. Not very healthy IMHO, lets just hope that all women aren’t so biased.

Which Goddess am I? (Thank goodness I didn’t have to pick only one…)

33.3% Hera & Aphrodite
mrow! I was surprised to see Hera so high up on my list…but I think it’s a side of me that is coming to the forefront since I’m recently engaged. I like the combination of the two goddesses, being someone who “finds fulfillment in relationships and looks on marriage as a permanent union” and is “charismatic and self-assured, comfortable with your body and unrestrained sexually.” Basically, can and will nest but won’t stand for it to be the end of sex.
25% Persephone
“…experienced great loss…this experience has forced you to face the dark, unenlightened side of yourself…and transform yourself into a stronger, more independent, more accepting and more loving person.” If I do say so myself, yup. Discussed it in Zenster’s Learning to Love Yourself thread.
8.3% Athena
“…with friends, you are the wise counselor–always ready with an empowering message…you carefully guard your intimate side, protecting your emotions and vulnerability…”
0% Artemis, Hestia & Demeter
Not utterly independent, but into partnerships. Neglecting my spirituality :frowning: and not a nurturer.

I did the God quiz for my SO, too:
30% Hermes & Dionysus
I think he’d be pleased to see Dionysus so high up on this list. “…friendly…crafty…full of energy and spontaneity…imaginative, intuitive and inspirational…dating a Dionysus man can feel blissful and comfortable and don’t be surprised if any former inhibitions you once had suddenly disappear…for those who can handle this newfound flexibility and freedom, a relationship with a Dionysus man can be life changing in the most positive way…”
20% Poseidon
“…inspire positive change in your life…adventurous nature sometimes gets the better of them, leading them to encourage risky behavior…they have a reputation for having difficult personalities…”
10% Zeus & Hades
“…like to be in control of their work and personal lives…intellectual…capable of passion…they’re not skilled at forming long-lasting, monogamous bonds…typically antisocial…familiar with dark emotions and do not shy away from them…”
0% Hephaestus, Apollo & Ares
Hephs are “not comfortable when it comes to love and seem lost in the world of intimacy;” Apollos “go for neat, well-kept women who fit into their ordered lives” and are afraid of emotional chaos; and Ares are known for “mindless aggression.”

I’d be interested to see the results if he took the quizzes for us…hinthint
