Which Is The Best Sauce?

Yum-yum sauce. But I like Gatopescado’s idea…Scotch!

Maybe Wow-Wow sauce. Having improvised explosives might come in handy.

505 Southwestern Hatch Valley Diced Green Chile Sauce.

Tamari.

Marinara come in tops so far as my frequency of use and it’s versatility. And I love the taste.

But sweet chili sauce scores even higher on my taste scale, though less frequently used.

So, it’s a tie.

Worcestershire. I’ve been known to just drink it straight from the bottle.

Walla Walla Sweet Onion salad dressing and sauce. It is made by a company in Ellensburg, Washington and is available at fruit stands, small grocery stores and some specialty retailers throughout Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. The company also makes about 200 other items and all are store branded for the retailer. I have about 4 bottles from different fruit stands and small stores I have visited this summer in my travels. I eat it on salads, it’s a great dip for fries and I spread a little on pork chops the last minute or so they are on the grill. The price ranges from $6 to $10 a bottle so I am always on the lookout for the cheaper bottles.

I ran across this thread searching for someting else. But this is a great Sweet Vidalia Onion Dressing that I put in everything. OTT’s makes another good one but I prefer the Ken’s for some reason.

Since this thread’s already been bumped, as an impulse buy recently I picked up a bottle of something called “Incredisauce” from Trader Joe’s. The label describes it as “a sweet, tangy, smoky dipping sauce”. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m guessing it’s something kind of like Heinz 57, perhaps? I guess you could pair it with anything you might pair with barbecue sauce, or Heinz 57, or perhaps A1.

Tapatio.

If exiled to a remote island, I’d opt for an extra-large gravy boat.

I came across this about a year ago. Simple Truth Vegan Worcestershire. It’s thicker than regular and has a distict flavor. I mix it with the above mentioned vadilia dressing and BBQ sauce for my BBQ sauce.

Several years ago my daughter and I discovered this wasabi flavored sauce that we both loved. But, the local stores stopped carrying it and we have not been able to find any in years.

It was liquid like a vinaigrette but wasabi flavored. I would bestow the Power Cosmic on anybody who can find info on this sauce.

I use Ken’s when I can’t find the Walla Walla onion dressing.
