True story: as a kid I had an orange bunny called George. No photos exist (boo!) but he looked remarkably like this stock photo rabbit.
I was a big fan of Oolong; AFAIK he was a just a plain ol’ domesticated rabbit, tho.
While I think running coach’s entry is gonna be tough to beat, I gotta give a shout out to long haired rabbits: they manage to look cool and ridiculous, often at the same time (and ddamn are they soft).

Seriously, though, asking which is the loveliest rabbit is like asking which water is the wettest. I suppose if I had to pick, I find myself drawn to bunnies that look like this .

Belgian hares. I’ve owned/raised a few rabbits and to me they were always the loveliest and best of the breeds.
What is it with people in pet threads suggesting the pets be killed and eaten? I used to have parrots, and inevitably someone would suggest killing and eating the parrots, for crying out loud.
When I was a child, I had Dutch Blue rabbits, and thought they were the coolest. But even then the various Rexes were popular, especially as bunnies.
Those black otter rexes are gorgeous. I also like the English Spot Rabbit. The Dalmatian of rabbits!
What are those little ones with short black ears and black eyes? They’re adorable. I only see them at county fairs.
