Which nut butter (except peanut) do you find tastiest?

Since I wrote the above, I’ve been thinking about Nutella again. I’ve had it and quite liked it, well, who doesn’t like chocolate? But it doesn’t strike me as a sandwich ingredient replacement.

Perhaps some on Ritz crackers might work for a quick snack?

Stray thought: Toasted whole wheat bread with Nutella and Fluff – the S’more Sandwich! Yeah, that would be nutritious.

We’ve bought soy butter for decades - my son is allergic to peanuts (definite reaction on 2 known occasions, a third time was almost certainly a packaged food product that was not supposed to contain peanuts). We do get WowButter - and as noted, it’s quite hard to find in stores.

We get 2 big jars of it from Amazon, every 2-3 months.

I’m a macadamia fan. It’s no more expensive than other tree nut butters, here.

For years, the Costcos around DC that I visited had house brand mixed nut butter. The one in El Paso had NuttZo. But my last visit to the Pentagon City Costco, they had NuttZo.

Both taste good to me. I haven’t compared side by side.

My wife bought some raw pecan butter and it’s delicious but not something we’ll shell out for regularly.

Since this thread is about food, i moved it to Cafe and tagged it.

Well, if you are thinking about substitutes to add to a PB&J, no, but people all over Europe give their kids toasted bread with Nutella on it. If you are trying to find a healthy sub for peanut butter, though, Nutella ain’t it, as tasty as it is. I’ve also heard that there are different formulations of Nutella for different countries, but no idea if that’s true or not. I only use it for desserts here.
