Marriage-wise, that is.

My apologies if this question has been asked before, I did a couple of searches and didn’t come up with anything… anywho.

I’ve made it through about halfway of the first season, up until the Guilty episode, and I have to admit, I think Bree is tops for me.

Gabrielle is smoking hot, Susan is cute as well (but dumb) and a sober (not pictured) Lynette ain’t shabby, and is smart to boot, but Bree apparently is extraordinarily cunning (and good looking and intelligent) and has the guts to use it. Plus, she can cook. And I love tough redheads. :wink:

Which is your prefferred Desperate Housewife?

You forgot Edie. She’s for that like fast and easy women. Plus, she has the bonus of being smart and not being afraid of anything including using her assets to get what she wants.

Gal here. I like Edie best, too. Besides the reasons Lil’ Mahoney gave, Edie is strong, vulnerable and funny.

Bree I like for her strong personality, although her opinions are narrowminded and uptight. I can’t really see why her kids hate her, though.

I loathe Susan. Her clumsyness may be endearing the first time, but it gets annoying after the thirtieth time. Just think before you act, woman!

You may as well be asking “Only one of your nephews gets to live, which one is it?” This question is too hard to answer unless we’re talking who’s for me long term, in which case it would be Longoria’s character, being a good deal closer to my age than the others.

I’ve never seen DH, but I’ve always found Teri Hatcher very sexy, especially as Sidra on Seinfeld.

Lynette for me, thanks! Not really because of her being better (though she’s certainly smart, and attractive) but because I really don’t like any of the others. 'Cept for Eva, but yeah, that’s just because she’s hot. :wink:

I agree with those who think Bree is too scary.

If I were rich enough to afford the high-maintenance type Gabrielle would be my pick.

Edie seems to be the most fun of the primary female characters, though I’m really drawn to Betty Applewhite ,the new black character played by Alfre Woodard. Woodard was kinda hot in that Star Trek movie where she appeared with her head shaved.
