Do you make yours with bitter lemon, ginger ale, or something else? It can be tough to find a good “mixer” for this in the US. (I use Polar bitter lemon or Polar half and half with a splash of ginger ale.)

I for one think The Dude would be very disappointed that White Russians weren’t on the list. After all it would bring the whole list together.

Top list all makes sense, except I’m surprised that LIIT is so high (but not that it’s somewhere near the top).
That bottom list, I think the only one I’ve had is a Godmother (vodka+amaretto), not sure of the Godfather (scotch+amaretto). Maybe if I needed to get rid of that cheap Scotch that I once had. On the other hand, the only other one that even sounds familiar is “French Connection,” and then googling I see that it’s pretty much the same exact thing (cognac+amaretto), and I’ve probably had that too. But not sure what the real French Connection had to do with Italy (amaretto).

Hemingway also liked mojitos and the Hemingway special is kind of frou frou, thus everyone can go proudly out and order the fanciest umbrella drink that you want without fear of getting made fun of!

Interesting results so far.

The three top vote getters are the Margarita, Screwdriver, and Long Island Iced Tea. I suspect this is due to the fact that nearly everyone has, respectively: been to a Mexican restaurant, owned both vodka and orange juice at the same time, and, I don’t know, been to a bar? Turned 21? Been female and had someone buy you one? Why do people order LIITs?
