Just curious.
But I’m planning to ditch the microwave and get a toaster oven instead.
Toaster, Waffle Iron (that never gets used), George Foreman, (stick) blender, crock pot, electric knife and microwave.
I used to have a deep fryer, but it broke and was never replaced. Had an ice cream maker at one point, not really sure where it wound up, lost in one of the moves I assume. I used to have a bread maker but I tossed it a few years back.
The Stand Mixer and food processor and standard blender were lost in the divorce, but I plan to appropriate a Kitchen Aid stand mixer from work the next time I have a use for it. In the mean time, I don’t have a ton of counter space, so I can just leave it there. Also, to clarify, I don’t mean steal it. My mom (family business) brought it to work 6 or 7 years ago for something we were doing and then bought herself a new one, but it hasn’t been used in probably 5 years, so when I need it, I’ll just take that one. It’s an ugly faded white color, but might as well save the $225.
Toaster (not working), microwave, blender (stick), and other: a Breville sandwich toaster, a kettle (electric) and a slow-cooker.
What’s the difference between a blender, a mixer and a food processor? I do have another item that does exactly the same as the stick blender, but I’ve also heard it called a blender and a food processor.
Oh good lord, most of them. No wonder I have no space in my kitchen.
I do not currently (although I have in the past) own a juicer, electric knife, toaster oven, bread maker or griddle. I’ve never owned a George Foreman grill or food processor.
In addition to those listed I have a pasta maker, Sous Vide machine and a kettle. Darn coffee drinkers, no entry for a kettle!
I do not have a kitchen as I live in a hotel, however I do have a small 4 cup coffee maker that I use to heat water with, a microwave and a mini-fridge jammed into one corner of my room.
I don’t own any of those appliances.
I have eleven of them. Least used: microwave. Most used: toaster. No rice cooker or bread maker, and I wouldn’t use one if it was given to me.
We own 11, and use most of them regularly. The bread maker probably gets the least use, the crock pot and microwave the most.
We have most of the above, but lately the most frequently used appliance we have that you didn’t mention is the pressure cooker. Yay for lentil soup from scratch in 15 minutes!
- Only own a juicer and ice cream maker because they were both new for $5 at a Goodwill. The juicer is barely worth it (it’s a decent Cuisinart, but juicers are just a hassle). The ice cream maker gets used three or four times a year, and is a hit each time.
I have a crock pot that sits in a small area by my stove that is otherwise wasted, a microwave that is on a shelf above the stove, a blender that is on the shelf next to the microwave - all of those are used at least weekly, the microwave daily. I have a deep fryer that I keep in a cabinet, but gets used weekly and a very helpful hand blender that has proven mind-bogglingly useful. I use the blender to make sauces, the whisk to make whipped cream, and the small food processor is just perfect for chopping up single servings. It lives in a drawer. That’s it for appliances. I gave away a full-sized food processor because I just didn’t have any place to store it.
I have a microwave, and “Other”.
My “other” is a hot water maker. I fill my cup with cold water, pour it into the little tank on top of the machine, and hit the button. It very quickly boils the water, which I then dispense back into my cup. Quick tea!
I have four of those (coffee maker, blender [both stick and regular], food processor, and microwave.)
I also have a commercial meat slicer, a meat grinder, a sausage stuffer, and a pressure cooker.
Um, wow. I have 13 of them. Or possibly 14 as I have a regular blender and a hand-held stick. Plus a milkshake mixer and an electric water pot for tea (don’t like coffee).
I am an appliance addict with a crowded kitchen.
Coffee maker, toaster, microwave, blender, rice cooker (really, a general purpose steamer). We just got rid of a toaster oven, bread maker, and juicer - along with a second microwave - in a garage sale a couple of weeks ago. We’ve been getting rid of a lot of stuff that we don’t use in preparation for a cross country move.
A microwave, a crock pot a Forman-esq grill and Other: a hot air popcorn popper.
Oh, I forgot that I do have a toaster, but I never use it. It is in storage, though, for when my parents visit and want to toast their breads.
I have an “old” appliance, a mortar and pestle. I use it to make marinades and crush garlic.
The most used appliance is the microwave. I cook big meals and live by myself, so I reheat leftovers often. Or make a big pot of coffee and reheat cold coffee that way.
I have a blender, but my silly dog got hold of the lid and ate it. So now I have a lidless blender, which is not very useful.
Other - an iced tea brewer, which I use almost daily.
plus 9 from the list.
Only two from the list, a toaster and a microwave oven. The toaster is in storage.
