Which of these TV series is worth watching?

Hey! I’ve been meaning to check that one out!

I am still writing all of these down.

Every episode of The Walking Dead

I voted for Eureka, Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis, at least), and Warehouse 13.

My wife would also recommend Supernatural, at least for the first four or five seasons. She still watches it out of loyalty, but frequently gets very ticked off with how the characters have been “developed” in recent seasons.

Of the six options :

Eureka - Eureka’s not bad, but gets on my nerves quickly.

Fringe - the one I’ve never seen.

Supernatural - enjoyable. I can leave the TV on if Supernatural’s on, and do something else.

Stargate - SG-1? Entertaining. It’s probably my second favorite of your list. Stargate Universe? Sucks.

True Blood - If you can get past some annoying characters, it’s not a bad show.

Warehouse 13 - One of my favorite things on television.

Watch Alphas instead.

I love Grimm but it does take some patience.

I picked Supernatural and Stargate, because I love the tongue and cheek humour. I love the fact that the character’s acknowledge how ridiculous some of their situations can be.

Warehouse 13 is nice light fare. It occasionally tries to get dark, but I don’t think it really grabs hold of that.

American Horror Story is a treat. The 2nd season just started, it’s a totally new storyline, you don’t need any background to jump in. I love the fact that it is a self contained storyline, they’re not going to draw out the story to last an extra 2 seasons or cram the last season into 3 episodes because they got canned.

Grimm is nice, though I think the lead is the weakest character/actor of the bunch.

Stargate SG-1 is great. Stargate Atlantis is often good. I haven’t seen any of the others you mention.

The first series of Heroes and first few series of Battlestar Galactica were good. Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra are good. Those are the main ones I’d recommend.

True Blood - decent show, starts out great, but it’s one of those shows that gets just a little bit worse each season. I don’t know that I’d say it’s reached “bad” yet, though.
Not like heroes where Season 1 great, Season 2 until they knew the writers strike was coming, decent, then storylines meant to go over an entire full season were killed early and the show crashed & burned (and never recovered).
