The RFK assassination seems to have more holes in it (likely because of the chaotic situation in that room, but I’m still not sure).
I’m definitely not an expert on the case (nor am I fully convinced of their innocence). The Burns and Rafay appeal campaign website isn’t particularly well organized, but IIRC
- There was no physical evidence connecting them to the murder scene. I believe that hair of the defendants was found in the bathroom with some of the victims’ blood, but both defendants were living with the Rafays and using that bathroom before the murder happened. DNA was collected at the scene that does not match the victims nor the two convicted.
- Their “confessions” were coerced in a scam in which the RCMP pretended to be members of the mafia who were threatening them. Here’s a page that provides evidence that the confessions were false.
Marilyn Monroe shot JFK from behind the fence on the grassy knoll. Bobby Kennedy had her killed, and RFK was then ‘cleaned up’ by a rouge reverend follower of Martin Luther King.
I could go on…this series of attempts at the lives of major US figures was put to rest when Jimmy Carter killed the Illuminati Attack Rabbit, and sunk their hopes for wolrd dominion to the bottom of a Georgia creek.
It’s all very clear when you chart it out.
I’d like to know what happened to Jimmy Hoffa.
Another vote for JonBenet Ramsey.
Nope, he’s in prison in Nevada on other charges.
There are so many…
I guess I have to say that I really want to know who Jack the Ripper was.
You got mine too. I also think that they were wrongly convicted, but it would be nice to know if my faith in their innocence is foolish or not.
Many of these would be interesting, but I’d love to find out the culprit in the Crime of the Century – the Hall-Mills Case.
The disappearance of the Beaumont children.
You mean a cardinal? That’s a bit extreme for excommunication, don’t you think?
eta: On topic. I think I’d go with the Memphis child murders as well.
It’s personal, but the mystery of Margaret Fox. She was an acquaintance of mine.
William Herbert Wallace, the granddaddy of all unsolved murder cases (although I have read the claim that the police overlooked a well-connected suspect).
Already mentioned, but the Zodiac killer, the Tylenol killer and the Mary Celeste are three cases that always struck me as ‘organically’ unsolved, as opposed to cases made more mysterious by police bungling, high visibility/paranoid obsessives (JonBenet/JFK) or well-heeled, sociopathic perps (OJ/Lizzy Borden).
I’ll give the Moonlight Murderer of Texarkana an ‘honorable’ mention, for additional creepiness.
And, a few extra points for confirmed sightings: people actually laid eyes on Zodiac and the Moonlight Murderer, but they were never caught.
JonBenet Ramsey, so that worthless mother of hers will finally be exposed for the murderer she was before she kicked off and her POS father will finally be put to shame for covering it all up.
Not that I, um … ya know. Have a strong opinion on the subject …
Aren’t the Anthrax envelope cases still unsolved, too?
Wally’s “accident.”
I don’t understand why Jack the Ripper is so famous. Someone killed some fairly small number of prostitutes? Who would have ever imagined such a thing could happen?
There are many, many more serial killers than have been more grisly than that and even some much worse before him that aren’t nearly as famous and it continues to this day. I am not sure why there is such fascination with those particular killings as opposed to so many others.
I would like to know about the JonBenet Ramsey case as well. The whole thing is incredibly odd even though her mother is dead now so we may never find out. I think it was probably some other sexual predator but I have no idea how the little girl ended up in the basement without anyone in the house knowing. Something similar happened with the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping though even though she didn’t die so it is possible.
I thought the DNA evidence showed that it was an unrelated white male who has yet to be identified.
I came in here to say Lizzy Borden. Guess I’m not alone.

I think the letters the Ripper wrote (From Hell, sir…) are a big part of the fascination, and I think the Zodiac Killer letters are similar, taunting the public to catch them…
