I don’t particularly resemble either of my parents. I just got bits, here and there. The worst bits, as it happens but there’s not a lot I can do about that.
My second son, though, is the image of my father at the same age. It’s uncanny.

I look exactly like my mom. It’s a running joke in our family that I’m really her clone.
I share my dad’s looks for the most part. The children in my family tend to follow a pattern, dark-haired green eyed boys and light-haired brown eyed girls.
I do however, look strangely similar to my grandfather on my mother’s side when he was my age.
I resemble my mom, and our voices on the phone sound very similar.
When my brother was younger, he looked more like my dad than he does now, but that’s still the one he resembles.
I look a lot like my dad, and even more like his mother. I did not get his nose (thank Og) and I have dark brown hair instead of black, but otherwise, there can be no doubt about my paternity.
Niether. I have some of my paternal grandmother’s features.
Funny, if you talk to my Mom’s family they say I look like her, if you talk to Dad’s family they say I look like him.
I think I have Dad’s build but Mom’s face. You would never in a million years think that my brother has anything to do with anybody. Go figure.
people would think that my parents were related. they did resemble each other a bit. my dad looked just like his, and strangely they both resemble clint eastwood. my mum resembled her dad and was the only one amoung her siblings in the states to do so.
i’m a mix of both of them, but with a bit of the colouring of my paternal grandmother. i did not inherit the brunnette, goldish tones, and hazel eyes of mum, or the brunet, bright blue eyes of dad. i got a bit of reddish hair and lovely pallor of grandmum, and changable blue/grey eyes (they photo as navy boat grey).
A male here. I looked much more like my mother, until I started balding.
My daughter is a dead ringer for my mother at that age.
I look like my mother, especially the hair - we both have brown, VERY curly hair, and blue eyes (well, at least some of the time). My dad also has very curly hair, and Jewish features, both of which I ended up with as well - although he has brown eyes and black hair. So I guess I’m a mixture, though tending towards my mom.
I’m a chip off the old block when it comes to my dad. I share his impatience and his terrible handwriting traits. I’m also very frugal like he is. He grew up poor, and while I didn’t, he did a good job instilling values in me such as conservation. A lot of people tell me that they can see a strong physical resemblance between my dad and me. We both have healthy heads of hair (he’s nearly 70 and nary a trace of baldness or receding hairline) and we have both have a roundish face. We’re also about the same height, which is only about 5’ 4". On the other hand, I don’t share his interest in football or politics.
I look so much like my father it’s frightening. Well, except for the fact that I’m not bald (knock on wood). Other than that, however, there’s no doubt in the mind of anyone who’s met the both of us that we’re directly related.

Let’s just say that if my dad ever wondered what he would have looked like as a woman, now he knows. I even have his hands. I’ve kept my hair and I count that as a bonus. The older I get, the more the resemblance grows in looks and health issues.
I closely resemble my father. At least I know what I’ll look like in forty years’ time.
