I was fairly active and certainly read a lot, but I haven’t been back since RiF shut down. I don’t use a computer to browse and I don’t like the Reddit app and that whole situation was BS.
I read (but haven’t joined) Lemmy through the Jerboa app. It’s a lot less active and has weird extreme posters but it scratches that “random crap” itch.
It’s why I ended up back here …that last time I had tried using the dope in mobile was a shitty vbulletin reader and I didn’t enjoy the experience. I much prefer this format now.

Some woman claimed she was on a plane and the guy next to her was masturbating under a blanket.
I asked why she didn’t notify the stewards? An airplane seems about as safe as you can get in that situation. Passengers all around and stewards a button push away who would not tolerate that.
