Which Seinfeld episode is this?

Which episode has this subplot:
Steinbrenner thinks George has died, and pays Frank and Estelle a visit to tell them the sad news of their son’s unfortunate (and exaggerated) demise.
Thanks in advance for any info that you can give me.

The Caddy.

That’s the one. He thinks George is dead because Jerry and Kramer wreck his car after seeing Sue Ellen (the braless wonder) walking down the street wearing just a bra.

Very prompt reply! Thanks!

Here is a transcript if you’re looking for anything particular in relation to that episode.

This episode contains the best Frank Constanza quote ever - “Jerry, it’s Frank Costanza. Steinbrenner’s here. George is dead…call me back.”

Also, upon heariing from Steinbrenner that his son was dead, Frank’s reply was, “How could you trade Jay Buhner??”

Since we have experts out there, once I was in a bar when Seinfeld was on (when it was in primetime). I could barely make out the dialogue but the scene was George and Jerry in the diner using ketchup and mustard bottles to represent the red sun of Krypton and the Earth’s sun while discussing Superman.

To this day I’ve never caught the repeat. What episode was this?

That’s “The Stock Tip”, Season 1 Episode 5.

Thanks! The Dope delivers once again.

Since the OP has been answered, I just wanted to mention that last week, two Seinfeld-related things happened to me on the same day: First, I saw Kenny Kramer in a deli! The people in this thread will probably know he was the inspiration for the TV Kramer, although he looks even crazier than Cosmo. He’s probably pretty smart, though, as I’ve heard he’s done pretty well with the Kramer name.

Anyway, when I saw him, I was on my way to the second Seinfeld-ish thing of the night: I saw Ted the Lawyer and his a capella group from Scrubs perform their act and got to chat with them for a bit after the show. Of course, he’s better known to me as the “Elaaaaaine! You look scrumptious!” guy from the TV Guide episode.

Did you go on the Kramer Reality Bus tour and pay $37.50 for a bite-sized Three Muskateers?

Haha, no, haven’t done that yet. Although, checking out his website, that is the exact amount he really charges. No word on the miniature candy bars…
