I guess I belong right where I am…Florida.
World of difference between the mossy left side and semiarid right side.
I got Colorado. I live in Colorado, and I like it–fine mix of hippies and ranchers who more or less tolerate one another.
Got Oregon. Suppose that makes a little sense as I’m a native born Austinite, but there’s no way I’m leaving my beloved Texas. Nooope. Besides which, I’ve no wish to fight off injuns only to die of dysentery on the way!
I bet a number of people surprised by the results simply filled out the rankings backwards. 1 (left) = strongly disagree; 7 (right) = strongly agree.
Most tests I’ve seen with this format, agreement is on the left, and disagreement is on the right.
As a result, I filled it out backwards the first time I tried it, and it said I belonged in North Dakota, which made no sense at all. When I reversed my answers, it put me in Oregon. I’ve never had the opportunity to spend much time in Oregon, but it sounds like it would be my sort of place if I was in my 20s and just starting out.
Arkansas? Hey, screw you, buddy.
I’m British; the test told me that I belong in Massachusetts. No offence meant to the good people of that state – but, drat it ! I wanted the Pacific North-West, or Maine.
I got Oregon too. Never been there, but I could see it. Most of the stuff I’ve heard about Portland intrigues me.
I have spent too many winters shoveling snow, and although I cannot move from my current location now due to responsibilities, my long-term plan is to move to a year-round warm climate state. I don’t know which state yet, perhaps Florida, but that is to be decided. Speaking for myself, I just feel better in a sunny climate, truthfully about ten or fifteen years younger.
I belong in Oregon, which would be fine with me.
Just for giggles, I took the test two more times. One test I answered all 1’s and the in the other I answered all 7’s. In both cases it said I belonged in Texas.
Me too.
Me too.
Well, I guess the test says what the test says. I’m off to go pack up my stuff…
Colorado here as well. I think it’s a nice state but I can’t ever see myself moving out there. I live in VA, if I was going to move it would be farther south.
Washington. I’m very… overcast. And occasionally slightly shaken?
If you let it default to all 4’s (straight down the middle), you get Texas.
New Mexico-- I could do that.
I thought they were going to send me to New Jersey but I got Vermont. I am beginning to question the science that this test is based upon.
I tried answering it as the worst type of person I could imagine (extremes on everything including the bad traits). It says I belong in Maine.
Pennsylvania.
Hey, guys, the test is NOT about political climates, or preferences in terms of cities, cultures, coffee shops, weather, etc. It’s just about the predominating temperaments of the residents.
It also ignores the question of whether it’s good or not to live in an environment where people have similar temperaments. For example, sometimes introverts need a few extraverts around to shake them up, or extraverts needs introverts to callm them down.
But it’s fun, nonetheless. And confirms my desire to get out of the neurotic northeast posthaste.
You tend to feel that way when you live somewhere where you are now younger than the average. And if you move to a different part, the ones younger that you will have bad skin from sun/meth. :dubious:
This type of test assesses normal personality variances. It is not a test of psychopathy, hence while some responses may seem negative, there is no wrong answer for many/all of them.
The Texas stuff is too funny.
I got Oklahoma.
I live in Texas.
Missed it by that much.
I got Vermont like the OP.
