No . . . the Dax part is a worm-symbiont – I don’t know if they even have a gender. It carries the memories of all its previous Trill hosts (male or female) but pretty much merges with the personality of the current one.

Well I have a lazy interest in the Star Trek Universe. So I saw one episode where it was implied that the ‘spirit’ occupying the clearly female body of Dax was formerly a male friend of Captain Sisco. It also somehow emphasised the fact that being inside a female body did not make the ‘character’ female.

Bebe Neuwirts character in the new law and order spin off. She is really hot and mouthed “fuck” on tv and got away with it. As a roomate, I would have to take Jerry Orbachs character. He has a good sense of humor, and is never at home.
For a platonic roommate, I’d pick Abby Lockheart(Maura Tierney). She seems like she’d pay the rent on time, would be good in the case of an accident, and would be so wrapped up in her various long-term romantic entanglements that I wouldn’t worry about finding strange guys in our apartment every other week.
For a roommate I’d sleep with, I’d pick Michael “Berg” Bergen (Ryan Reynolds). None of you saw that coming, I’m sure Gotta pick a guy who’ll make you laugh, has a lively mind, and he’s hot hot hot.
