Which TV episode made you laugh so hard that you cried and what scene was it?

Homer jumps Springfield Gorge.
That whole episode is full of laugh-out-loud moments, and this scene had me gasping for breath by the end.

Psych - The Karate episode and the one where they got wasted the night before and killed bobo the donut.

“you’re the angry man”

woody : “first thing we need to do is all pee in a cup”
shawn: “yeah, then you can test it for drugs”
woody: “that too”

Brilliant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvn-tBeLpCk

So, another thing that always makes me laugh is when someone begins to laugh while trying to finish the scene:

Tim Conway and the Elephant

AND HOW ON EARTH DID THIS THREAD GET TO ALMOST THREE PAGES WITHOUT A SINGLE SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE SKIT??

Stefon the city correspondent.

If only somebody had provided the link elsewhere in the thread.

Coupling - Inferno - from Steve explaining the plot of a movie and from there transitioning into one of his rants.

Frasier - the radio play episode. (also some of the other farce episodes, they knew how to use doors on that show)

Newhart - Stephanie Vanderkellen singing “Old Man River” on the pledge drive.

and from the drama side: West Wing - Celestial Navigation - the secret plan to fight inflation

I’m a huge fan of “Friends” - they all had their moments when I just about died laughing. The one with all the wedding dresses, where Rachel flings the door open with her wedding dress on and scares off her new boyfriend who’s afraid of commitment by saying, “I doooo…” - then closes the door after he runs off; “Well, that oughta do it.”

With the curtain rod still in the curtains. That show was funny as written, but when they started cracking each other up, it reached new levels of, “Oh, God, I can’t breathe, I’m laughing so hard!”

America’s Funniest Home Videos - two little boys, about 10 or so, made a video parodying “The Clapper” and called it “The Belcher.”

1st kid: “You can use The Belcher in the kitchen!”
2nd kid: “buurrrp” - toast pops up.

1st kid: “Even Santa Claus uses The Belcher!”
2nd kid, wearing a Santa beard: “buurrrp” - Christmas Tree behind him lights up.

I was busting a gut laughing and was very pissed off when some old lady feeding a squirrel won first prize over those kids.

**Frasier **- He wants to perform an aria on a PBS beg-a-thon, but is talked out of it at the last minute. Instead, he goes with his “signature piece”, Buttons and Bows. Let’s just say he should have rehearsed it a bit first.

If I had had a full bladder when I first saw it, I woulda wet myself.

Buttons and Bows.
mmm

From Community, vampire Abed. It’s hilarious, but it’s Pierce’s “If this is going to get ugly I can’t be here, I’m a two striker” that pushes me over the edge.

And from the same episode:

Troy: You should be like Calvin. His best friend was a tiger, and he went on dope adventures, and if anything got in his way he’d just pee on it.

Pierce: Calvin Coolidge?
From The Simpsons episode “Monty Can’t Buy Me Love”, the Simpsons go for a walk, and Marge points out her favourite yarn store, then tells the rest of them that they shouldn’t buy their buttons there. Homer rolls his eyes and says to Bart “wow, we really dodged a bullet there”.

Everybody Loves Raymond–The one where the car comes into Raymond & Deb’s living room. And Frank gets out on the passenger’s side. And then…Marie is the driver. And Robert responds to the police call, asks “Is everyone okay?” and when assured that they are, starts laughing.

Friends–The one where Chandler’s transvestite father is finally revealed to be…Kathleen Turner. This exchange between him and Chandler’s mother, played by Morgan Fairchild, is priceless:

Daddy: It’s bad luck to see the bride in her wedding dress before the wedding.
Mommy: I saw the groom in my wedding dress.
Daddy: Yes, but that was after the ceremony, so it wasn’t bad luck.
Mommy: Well, believe me, it wasn’t good luck.

The Big Bang Theory - has quite a few as well, but the one that I remember, because it was the very first show I watched was Sheldon describing the burns he gave himself after he had built his own magnetic resonance imaginer when he was twelve because his parents didn’t want to take him to the hospital.

Bit Bang: Wolowitz and the robot arm. I was howling!!!

ETA: Sheldon’s speech. And Sheldon’s reaction to the napkin Penny gave him.

Frazier Crane - Hot and Foamy episode (this is the last 5 minutes, which will give you the full flavor of the climax). I’ve seen this a dozen times and it still makes me laugh out loud.

The stuff about lab rats is priceless. “I have no memory of that…”
Roddy

Malcolm in the Middle: The episode where Malcolm, Reese, and Dewey are trying to get Francis, who is matured now and works on a ranch, to be irresponsible again. They get some gigantic illegal firework from a guy and launches it. The resulting explosion turns the entire night scene into daytime for like 5 seconds. I laughed for like 5 minutes straight after that

The episode of MALCOLM that did it for me involved Hal frustratedly trying to inspire the kids on his son’s soccer team by giving 'em a pep talk about working together and helping each other, like a team, like – “Like the X-Men?” “Yes! Yes! Like the X-Men!”

I so totally want a hoomba.

Malcolm In The Middle: Malcolm’s dad reveals himself to be a whiz on roller skates, disco-dancing to Funky Town! The look on M’s face! “Is that my DAD? I don’t know whether to be impressed or horrified!”

Everybody Loves Raymond: Frank dresses up as Frankenstein to hand out Halloween candy at Raymond’s. Urrrghhh! Urrrrrrghhh! Marie pops in as Bride of Frankenstein! “Urrrghhh! Doctor make BAD BRIDE for monster! Sue that doctor!” (and Frank hands out all of Ray’s foil-wrapped condoms, mistaking them for candy, and the last scene is Ray yelling out the window, ‘hey, you, kid - Dracula! Did you get some candy here tonight? I want it back’.) There have been a lot of hilarious moments on that show (Ray taking Robert’s ‘model portfolio pictures’ to the tune of Disco Inferno) but the Halloween one had me shrieking with laughter.

There was a british series set in a TV news room called Drop the Dead Donkey which had some amazingly funny stuff in it.

This is a good sample of the kind of humor:

It’s one of those show that seems to have slipped under a lot of people’s radar but if you can find it, its a worthy investment of your time.

Grandpa thinks he has turned Eddie’s friend Googie into a chimp. After a day of trying to turn him back into a boy, Grandpa and Herman just drop the chimp off on his parents’ doorstep, dressed in Googie’s clothes. They ring the doorbell and bolt.
