Which TV episode made you laugh so hard that you cried and what scene was it?

Thanks. It didn’t make sense the other way.

God forbid someone does not get credit for their hard work in posting a youtube clip. You are right I missed that you posted the link earlier.

Family Guy: the scene where Stewie and Brian hop dimensions and end up in the ‘Disney dimension’.

Speaking of Everybody Loves Raymond, which I usually found amusing but not laugh-out-loud funny, there was an episode in which Ray complains to Deborah that he never gets to make any decisions around the house. So Deborah calls him on it, and says that he now has full autonomy to make all the decisions. Ray changes the brand of facial tissues they buy, rearranges things in the kitchen, buys a new garden hose – mostly seemingly innocuous stuff.

The final, absolutely hilarious scene features a bizarre chain of events where every decision Ray has made leads somehow to the kitchen curtains being set on fire. The climax of the scene has Ray running outside and then back in with the new hose – which is too short to reach the fire. Easily the funniest bit ever on that show.

(Can’t find a clip right now but I’ll look later…)

Kramer: “I’m out.”

Seinfeld

Kramer & Mel Torme, The Velvet Fog. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Speaking of Roseanne, this one is classic and had me screaming with laughter:

Stains - the dog that wanted the cupcakes on “It’s Me or the Dog” - still makes me laugh.

AWAY!

AWAY!

- YouTube Frame :30

Bingo!

I actually have managed to work this line into conversations over the years. Hard to find the right context, but not impossible.

The Seinfeld episode “The Gum,” in which George finds out his nemesis Lloyd Braun had a nervous breakdown after botching the election. He gloats about Braun’s breakdown to a potential romantic interest, who then accuses George of being on the brink of insanity himself. A series of ridiculous events seemingly proves her point, much to George’s dismay:

DEENA: I’m… I’m concerned. George? George, are you listening to me?

GEORGE: You see that woman on the horse? (points)

[The cashier from the cafe is passing by on horseback.]

GEORGE: She stole twenty dollars from me. (getting angry) Yeah, I might’ve gotten it back, but Lloyd Braun interfered!

The scene near the end after George’s car burns is what kills me. It’s too long to post here, but…good God. I wish I weren’t at work so I could see if it’s on YouTube.

I laugh until I cry every time I watch this episode. That show was pure genius, but season 7 was the high point, IMO.

Arrested Development, all of it.

I have twice had to stop TV shows to finish laughing.

30 Rock, when Tracy breaks down about his school bully, Baby, not existing and he’s just too chicken to go to his reunion.
Milton Jones (played by Alan Alda): “Crying about a chicken and a baby? I though this was supposed to be a comedy show.”

The Big Bang Theory, when Raj has mentioned that cows are gods in Hindu faith, and Sheldon smugly corrects him.
Raj: “Do not tell me about my own culture, Sheldon! In the mood I’m in, I’ll take you out, I swear to cow!”

“Family Guy” when Stewie freaks out after seeing a vagina for the first time, and when Meg lets a pussy fart in the bathtub.

“Zoo Animals on Wheels” from Get a Life. The main character’s playing the lead in the parody of Cats and Starlight Express. His dad says to his mom, “I’ll give you a million dollars if you just shoot me now!”

The Cosby Show: The episode in which Theo gets an earring. “When they see this earring, they’re gonna know they’re dealing with a man!”

MS3TK: Mitchell (especially the low-speed chase scene) and the short The Story of Home Economics. (Would she smoke thin black cigarettes and reject the triune God?)

Sorry, I meant to edit, not quote this. :smack: Any Family Guy episode with the giant chicken/Peter fights.

BBT, he one where Sheldon couldn’t sleep. I laugh every time I think about Sheldon in the ball pit “Bazinga!” and Leonard trying to chase him down. "Bazinga!

And the security guard, “I understand, I have a brother who’s special too. . .”

Pretty much every Carol Burnette show, but especially any time Tim Conway came out as the shoffling old man. I would seriously worry about peeing my pants when he came out.

Dolores?

Or Mulva?

Modern Family.

Jay and Gloria go to see their neighbor to complain about his barking dog.

The neighbor becomes angry and says something like,

“How can you complain about my dog when I have never once complained about your parrot which is much, much louder and creates a much bigger disturbance than my dog?”

Jay and Gloria look at each other with puzzled looks on their faces and ask, “Parrot?”

They don’t have a bird. Then we get some flashbacks and see exactly what the neighbor is complaining about.

Sophia Vergara is a very beautiful woman but she has a mouth that can rival a transport truck’s horn. Unbelievable.

The Andy Griffith Show.

Barney takes Gomer to the city to confront two men who own a company that has enlisted a bunch of kids from Mayberry to sell their salve.

Barney comes back and he and Gomer talk to Andy. Barney puffs his chest up and feels enormously smug when he explains to Andy how he “outfoxed a fox”.

Then the phone rings. What happens in the next ten seconds is just about the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on TV and convinced me that Don Knotts is the funniest TV actor ever.

Even funnier than Lucy and the whole Seinfeld cast all put together.

I just wish I knew how to upload a scene to Youtube and then link to it in this forum. But I don’t know how to do either of those things.

Sorry.

The Vicar of Dibley has the ultimate dumb blonde - Alice Tinker:

ALICE TINKER
You know that stuff that they’re selling now at the local shop?

GERALDINE GRANGER
Which stuff?

ALICE TINKER
I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.

GERALDINE GRANGER
Oh, yeah.

ALICE TINKER
Well, you know, I can’t believe it’s not butter.

GERALDINE GRANGER
Yeah, well, I believe that is the idea, yeah.

ALICE TINKER
Then yesterday I went to the supermarket and I bought this other stuff, like a sort of store brand, you know.

GERALDINE GRANGER
Yes?

ALICE TINKER
And, you know, I can’t believe it’s not I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.

GERALDINE GRANGER
Mmmm? [pause] I’m losing you now.

ALICE TINKER
Oh, right. Well, you know I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter?

GERALDINE GRANGER
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you think it is butter.

ALICE TINKER
No, no. I mean, you know the stuff that I can’t believe is not butter is called I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter?

GERALDINE GRANGER
Probably, yeah, yeah.

ALICE TINKER
Well, I can’t believe the stuff that is not I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter is not I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. And I can’t believe that both I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter and the stuff that I can’t believe is not I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter are both, in fact, not butter. And I believe… they both might be butter… in a cunning disguise. And, in fact, there’s a lot more butter around than we all thought there was.

Really an under-rated actor. Have you been watching his web series Fresh Hell?

What a great thread-I need to re-watch Night court and START watching Fawlty Towers!
