Yep. In fact, I take my purse with me anytime I leave my desk. I got into the habit once it was pointed out to me that if there were a fire and my purse was not with me, I could not go get it, meaning I couldn’t even go sit in my car to wait to see if things were major enough to go home or minor enough to go back inside.
Yes. At my work in a government building, we inexplicably have fire drills that force us to evacuate the building and it would suck to not have my keys or phone or whatever. I’d never leave any of my stuff when I leave my desk, because in a real fire, I would just leave and go home.
In my pocket, just like it usually is, unless I’m actively doing something with it. I’m not worried about theft, just accidentally setting it somewhere and losing it.
