Where can I get information about whistle training a dog. We have a young part mutt part australian shepard female. She seems to respond to whistling and I’d like to train her without ruining her.
Anybody ever tried it?
She will hopefully be working cattle.
Just the basics for now though.
I have owned 2 dogs that I trained to obey voice, whistle and hand signals. 1 Brittany Spaniel and a Black Lab. It isn’t difficult to do, and an Australian Shepherd learns quickly, very intelligent dogs. I’m getting an A.S. in 4 weeks and I can’t wait!
