After watching the “White Castle” episode of “Undercover Boss” last night, my sister and I remember one that was in California, near where we grew up. The problem is, supposedly White Castle has never been in this state nor across the Mississippi at that time. Yet, she clears remembers it being a White Castle. I remember the white building, but thought it might have been a knock off. I don’t remember the address, but it was located next door to the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pomona, CA(1150 W. Holt Ave.). Currently, it’s a taco stand, but it was operating as a hamburger stand sometime in the 1980s, but I’m not sure under what name. Anyone know if it was a “White Castle” or what it was?
