I saw a clip a while ago, i think it was The Daily Show, where they showed a small portion of a speech that someone from The White House made at some event, and then showed a clip from The West Wing (from years prior, i believe) where the text matched up exactly.
I’ve been trying to find this clip but with no luck.
Does anyone have any idea what im talking about?

I just went to thedailyshow.com, typed “west wing” into the search bar. Annoyingly, all I can get are commercials, which suggests to me the videos are being blocked to me. I suppose I could load up some IP spoofing software but… meh.
In any case, I also remember the comparison you describe.

Not the White House, but a schmaltzy sports feature copies a speech from the West Wing.
