Because they’re throwing a party in which there are two criteria to get invited: you have attend their highschool, and you have to have the same skin color as they do. How is that not racist? And don’t you fucking dare say “They can invite whoever they want,” because who they can invite is not the fucking issue, the issue is who they did invite.

Serious question folks, if my neighbor has a Kwaanza (sp) celebration, or a MLK holiday party, or his daughter’s wedding, or whatever, and he doesn’t invite any of his white neighbors, is he a racist?

Alright - after reading that article, I see something that I read previously that isn’t made really absolutely clear there. Maybe this will help milroyj somewhat.
Since 1972, the school in question has had a black prom and a white prom. NO INTEGRATED PROM.
