I hereby amend my statement as follows. The correct order is:

My Newfoundland
All cats
All other dogs

My Newfie vaults into the lead by clearing the kitchen counter of anything food related tonight, some of it actually food. He made an amazing mess. He will make an even more amazing mess in a few hours when it starts coming out both ends. :mad:

Dogs are more annoying than cats to me simply because they are louder. Both vocalize but dogs are louder. Both lick you (admittedly dogs do it more) but dogs’ tongues are bigger. Both have their smelly parts but dogs’ bodies are larger than cats’ poop and usually closer to you.

My stupid cat is a talker, which means he meows A LOT. Especially at night. Loudly. Next to my bed. Stupid cat.

Mr. Meow is a lovable but annoying shit. My niece has a German/Australian shepherd mix female who is just an absolutely adorable man loving doll (seriously, she will bypass ‘mom’ for any male human in the room in a heartbeat) who is quiet, and shy and loves to run out in the yard, never or rarely barks and is an 80 pound lap dog.

Generally I find dogs to be more annoying than cats but there are exceptions.

Parrots are the most annoying pet.
