Who are the marketing geniuses that came up with this one?

Tangentially-related, back in the 70’s there was a big Pepsi sweepstakes where you had to cllect bottle caps with individual letters printed on the underside; big prize went to whoever spelled out “Pepsi Spirit” first. So, there was one letter that they hardly printed any of at all, in order to not have to pay out the big prize a zillion times, and that letter was “R”.

So, I found it amusing that, all across the country, people were spelling out “Pepsi Spiit.”

Hell, there are words which are perfectly fine in American English but aren’t so nice in British English. “Fanny” comes to mind.

Devil’s advocate: Maybe he already has it, taking care of his developmentally disabled daughter.

Heh. The banner ad at the bottom of the page was for Vitamin Water just now.
