Columbus checking in here - and I’m a hard-bodied 20something to boot. While I read the boards regularly, I somehow missed all notices of previous Dopefests. Someone needs to put together a list of the OH dopers and notify them when these events occur. Volunteers?
I emailed everyone from the “everyone in Ohio” thread when I first started the OhDope thread, as well as those I knew to be in the area.
I suppose that since I already have a quasi-database going from the White Elephant ranch, I could cobble together the Ohio dopers info.
Or you could just go to the Dopers of the World thread and make things easy for everyone.

born in Toledo here—I’ve lived in Cleveland and Bowling Green, too, but have been back in T-town for the past three years now.
Dang, I’m jealous because so many of the cool dopers are in Ohio.

Except for a short stint as a co-op in hell – oops, I mean Maryland – I’ve lived in good ‘ol Ohio all my life. Grew up in Washington Township, which is basically a south suburb of Dayton. Went to school in Cincinnati, where I learned how to drink. Moved back to Dayton and lived in Kettering (another suburb of Dayton) for 8 years. About 6 months ago we moved to Champaign County, in the middle of BFE. Our mailing address is St. Paris, and I’ll buy a beer for anyone who’s heard of it.
Did you ever spend at least 24 hours there, in a row?
If yes, then I say you can all your self a semi-honorary Ohioan. Because you’d get all the corn jokes… and the Michigan jokes. That would qualify you in my book!

Bellefontaine, OH. Home of the first concrete street in America, AND the highest point in Ohio. Go Buckeyes! sniff I miss Woody.
My cousin and I go deer hunting on a relative’s land every year, which is located about 10 miles south of downtown Chillicothe. In fact, I’ll be spending a week down there during gun season this year. Look us up!
Born in Columbus, grew up after age 4 in Cincinnati: Anderson township, far east side, just beyond Mt. Washington.
Attended U.C. for undergrad, so know Clifton well. And Mt. Adams; make pilgrimages back to the Blind Lemon whenever I’m back home.

I’m an Ohio Doper too. I live in New Middletown, Ohio (like anyone has ever heard of that place). It is a very small farm town, that is about a half an hour away from Youngstown.
I love Ohio 
Living in Springboro (Dayton) and going to school at Miami University in Oxford! Go Hawks, we’re kicking ass in the MAC this year!
