Who are the Ohio Dopers?

Ahh, Mt. Adams and the Blind Lemon. I was just thinking the other day of trying to get some fellow Dopers to go up there on Nov 17 and drink Nouveau Beaujolais. But then I remembered that we are flying down to Florida that day. Maybe next year.

Veb, whenever we get around to organizing CincyDope, we’ll need you to come down and be honorary Grand Marshal.

Huber Village.

Am from Beavercreek (rodentditch), was born in Patterson, (Actually I was born in Kettering (St.E’s) but my parents lived in Patterson at the time.) Spent a few years in Vandenburg CA. Moved back to Beavercreek, and in '97 moved out here to the SF Bay area.

You owe me a beer dude. I grew up in Champaign County…went to school at Graham HS…in St. Paris

I live in Troy now.

Oh oh I used to live in Ohio till I was about 11. I lived close to Cincinnati in the small town of Ross. Still have family that lives there. I go back to Cincinnati every summer a couple of times for the Red’s games but other than that I don’t get back there often. So basically what I’m saying is if FairyChatMom deserves semi-Ohian honors I do to dang nabbit! Although I reside in Indiana now, the wonderful word of corn as we like to call it.

A beer on me, KO. Name the time and place.

Well, let’s see…

Do I count as an Ohio Doper?

I did most of my growing up in eastern central NJ. I still miss good canolis, real pizza, and Italian ices.

Just before I entered high school, I moved to one of the suburbs of Cincinnati. After high school, I moved to Columbus to go to OSU. I’m still in Columbus 9 years later.

Unfortunately, I have never heard of St. Paris.

I root for Ohio State whenever they’re playing against the University of Michigan. And I’m in Michigan.

Can I be an Honorary Buckeye?
