See, if you post an ad on Craigslist looking for a prostitute, that’s the crime of soliciting in many jurisdictions. If you post an ad for a porn actress, that’s legal (in the US, anyway).
I would expect porn acting offers to have a higher rate than just prostitution.

Could be. I just looked at a couple, and the ones that post a rate are all over the place – $350, $1400, $4000. Based on the ads on Backpage, the going rate for escorts in my town is more like $100/hr.

I’ve heard webcast interviews with some of these folks. One, Heather of “ideepthroat” was specifically asked “what if your children see this someday?” Her answer was that “They’ll know how much their mommy and daddy love each other.”
Many, possibly most, of the genuine amateurs work only with their partner. They are letting us into their private lives and exposing more of themselves than their mothers or grandmothers did - they’re just further along a continuum. In their great-grandmother’s time, revealing a bare leg might have been scandalous, but now plenty of girls wear swimwear that is basically two postage stamps and a cork.
And there are plenty of jobs where nobody will care if you like posting footage of yourself having sex. Any number of retired porn pros work in Hollywood. Juliet “Aunt Peg” Anderson operated a bed and breakfast and as a massage therapist, Brandy Alexandre worked as a graphic artist. Unless you’re going into politics or are going to work for giant hypocrites (“Exactly HOW did you find my videos?”) it is not a giant issue.
On the other hand, I can see facial recognition (hur-hur!) being applied to every video on a free porn site and compared to a database of images, like the CostCo membership database.
I think that people are blind to this disclaimer. You can repeat it 100 times on this thread, and there will be too many people who are so committed to lecture you about your narrow mindedness that they can’t let what you say sink in.

Internet Porn is a new frontier, where the consequences are hard to measure. There are some people who have always wanted to do it but didn’t have an in, and now they can do it with ease and from the safety of their own homes. There are a lot of people that applies to.
There are also a lot of people who have very little moral objection to what they do with their bodies, thinking it no more or less an asset than any other talent, be it creative, intellectual, or physical like sports or catwalk modelling.
There are some people who are desperately in need of money and will do things with little forethought, but those are not necessarily the norm, though I’m sure it varies upon the outlet.
We don’t know what the consequences of the Internet Porn development will be yet. The moral objections are rapidly lessening, we all admit to partaking of masturbation (something we’d never have admitted to a couple of decades ago), many of us openly consume porn, even if we do yet sometimes feel a bit guilty about it. The way future generations will look at those who participated, be they friends, relatives, or work colleagues, may be a big unknown, but it seems to be leaning towards the favourable and probably won’t be a big deal for most.
Frankly, I think charlatan nonsense like psychics or homeopathy deserve more scorn and moral objection than participating in something that brings harmless pleasure to so many.

For values I really meant more of an economic weighting of things that aren’t directly monetary as opposed to right/wrong. You seem to place higher valuation on the negative social effects than the people making the decision. That can come from existing in different subcultures that impose different reactions. It can also just be different valuation of the same social affects.
Some people buy more pizza than I do. Some buy less or never buy any. We place different valuation on the benefits of pizza relative to the market costs and buy appropriately. Why would we think people approach posting blowjob videos any differently?

one thing that has always impressed me is the makeup the women wear.
