People who show indifference/hostility toward complete strangers are bad enough, but I’d say they are superceded by anyone who supports honor-killing of their daughter/wife/sister. Most people in the world would die to protect their nearest kin; it takes an exceptionally depraved person - one who is incapable of love - to plan and carry out the cold-blooded murder of their closest relatives.

I think there needs to be a distinction drawn between the proximity of said complete strangers.
I mean, if someone’s clearly injured on the sidewalk, and people just walk by, then yes, they’re complete bastards. If someone in a relatively large community needs aid and other residents ignore the need, then not great, but less awful. If complete strangers are suffering half a world away and it’s only seen on the news, I wouldn’t blame anyone for being indifferent about it- it’s not ‘real’ to most people when say… Bangladesh is flooding… again, and people are drowning and losing all their stuff. I can’t blame them for being indifferent about it.
Nah. The people most likely to text and drive are adults 25-39, so we can’t blame this one on the kiddies.
