Un could be replaced by somebody he has a beautiful and loving relationship with. Could be lots of people fit that description.
A woman leader would indeed be a sea change in North Korea’s ossified, overwhelmingly male-dominated hierarchy.
Interestingly, back in the 1950s, a female politician in North Korea, Pak Chong-ae, achieved prominence throughout the communist bloc. The Kremlin awarded her the International Stalin Prize, and North Korean schools abroad were named after her.
(A retired Eastern European diplomat once told me that Pak Chong-ae was also known for being able to drink her male counterparts under the table!)
