A while back, perhaps a few months ago, someone somewhere linked me to a video of a young male musician - I was inclined to say Patrick Wolf, but I checked and it wasn’t him - playing a cover of Madonna’s “Open Your Heart”, using a violin and recording multiple tracks on a sampler. He was tapping his finger on the violin for percussion. I think this video was on YouTube and for some reason I didn’t favorite it, even though it was a fantastic cover, and now it seems to have slipped through my fingers. Does anyone have an idea of who this was?
