Who did the paintings in "The Warped Ones"?

The 1960 film The Warped Ones has a Japanese young woman artist character who does abstract paintings. A lot of her paintings are shown in the film. The character is named Yuki and she’s played by Yuko Chishiro.

My question is – Who actually painted the works that are shown in the film?

(The reason I ask is because we have a painting from the same time that looks similar, but we don’t know who made it, other than that it was a young Japanese woman around 1960).

Just to point out that while your link agrees with your identification of the artist character and the actress who played her, two other sources contradict this information.

This source and this other source give the artist as Fumiko, played by Noriko Matsumoto. They show Yuki (Yuko Chishiro) as the hooker who forms a liaison with Masaru. I don’t heartily endorse either of these links, but I’m often not very enthusiastic about Wikipedia, either.

I can’t help with the art works shown in the film, but I do believe there is an artist still working who goes by the name of Noriko Matsumoto-McTavish. I doubt this will help, but you never know.

Thanks, that’s interesting. I Googled for Noriko Matsumoto-McTavish and found one comment saying she does landscapes and paintings of Kabuki players and masks, so I doubt that’s her. I also found a Noriko Matsumoto but she’s too young and she’s a photographer.
