Hastur-I can never remember what Hastur is supposed to look like in the mythos. As a result, I see Hastur as a swirling cloud of colors and vapors floating amidst huge monoliths.
M’uadib-I always picture him as Kyle McLahlan in Lynch’s version.
Sua Sponte-A tentacled, bulbous-headed, orange skinned alien from an issue of EC’s Weird Science. EC had the habit of slipping “Spa fon” and “Squa tront” into the dialogue of various aliens.
Iampunha-A skinny, yet handsome, and high strung teenager-he’s usually in the act of stripping so that he can streak through a thread.
Yojimbo-Usagi Yojimbo, the samurai rabbit.
Astroboy-naturally, the robot of the same name.
Anthracite-An atractive woman, with curly reddish-brown hair. She wears mechanics coveralls and is surrounded by top of the line tools and equipment.
Well…you kind of have it right. I do have long, dark hair, but mine is a bit lighter than hers and curly. My eyes are brown, but larger and more innocent-looking. I’m about 5’5, and slender, like her. So you were kind of close, but I don’t think that she and I would ever be mistaken for eachother.
Complete with devil horns, I see! Libertarian, I pictured you as taller and more slender, without the moustache. I’m not saying anything about the horns!
irishgirl, you got me laughing out loud. You see, I noticed I was biting my lip as I read your post. You’re about the only Doper I don’t picture having dark hair, and I’m afraid it’s an Irish stereotype. In my mind, you have curly red hair, fair skin, your head’s thrown back and your laughing, showing perfect teeth.

Ok, I’ll tells youse. 6’ tall, 225lbs (yes, but I carry it well {an ex work out freak who let himself go [ think of a short def end, big and broad, but slightly chubby]}), ruddy complexion, med and light reddish brown hair, blue eyes, mixed Eastern European and Amerindian facial features (square head with high cheekbones and deepset eyes) {I really am an ethnic mutt}, can’t grow a beard for anything even tho I’m almost 40 so I’m clean shaven, loud (really loud) voice, who tends to get real detailed in oral descriptions.
Is that enough for a police sketch? I have no scanner or digicam, so that’ll have to do for now.
So, Lib, you see why I questioned my fam’s lineage tales in that other thread? Tho I have actual proof of some things, other things they’ve handed down just don’t fit…

If you are ever looking for your long lost twin brother, I know where he is. I’m married to his brother. Which I suppose makes you my long lost brother in law.

Anthracite - dark greying hair, dark eyes, short in height, angularly thin. Badly scarred face from car accident (100+ facial stiches - do I need to draw a picture?) that makes people either turn away or supress a smirk.
Scars on arms (hot automobile catalyst, barbed wire fence, etc), back (from wild cat attack), legs (insulin injections, barbed wire, Ford 100 Pickup truck), stomach (shop accident), ankles (firewood-gathering accident). Almost no body hair at all (Nature, not shaving), and somewhat dark tan without trying in the Summer. Poor complexion due to hormone issues. Crooked overbite from car accident which shattered jaw. One eye with cataract, 10% vision loss. Other eye has some retinopathy, some vision loss. Spider bite (recluse) scar on right leg. Diabetically ruined fingernails. Ends of fingers scarred slightly from glucose testing. Large lipoliths on thighs, and small ones on tummy sides from insulin injections. Scars from past beatings (including violent assault) have mostly faded, or else I just can’t remember which are which anymore. I had one from being stabbed with a screwdriver in a fight, but it healed. Had a bruise that lasted for a year from being hit by a shotgun (don’t know if it was either the butt or the barrel).
Oh yeah - various scars from past cuttings. Mostly all gone now, but some faint remnants.
In short, my body tells the tale of a hard life. I’m a mess. Those who Hate me don’t need to make fun of me either; I know how ugly I am.
That’s actually closer than the Edie Brickell reference, I have a beatle, an old rusty used one, mind you,. I do have long hair, and my closet is full of peasant blouses.

Eats_Crayons reminds me of one of my brother’s elementary school friends. Jeas would eat crayons, birthday candles, and whatever else had wax in it (I suppose). You have short brown hair, a prominent nose, and dark brown eyes… and a goofy personality
Esprix looks like a tall California surfer dude, with long brown hair, blue eyes, and the most amazing smile.
Lyllyan looks like a mermaid to me for some reason, complete with glittering blue fin. (and the most piercing blue eyes and long red hair to match… maybe a slightly older version of Ariel in The Little Mermaid?)
cjhoworth looks like a woman with long blond hair in braids all the way down her back, pleasing hazel eyes, and a terrific sense of her own self-worth.
Spoz has long brown hair, is about 5’10" or so, and has eyes that are hazel / green. He also bounces around a lot on stage, is naturally hyper, and is warm and cuddly. (yes, I am aware that I IM him almost every day, but I’ve never seen his picture, nor has he really described himself to me much)
