Sorry, Olentzero, I live about as far from the East Coast as you can be, unless you count AK and HI. 30 miles from the Canadian boarder in NW Washington.

Console yourself with the thought that many, many more Dopers live near you than live near me, so you will be able to meet lots more of them than I ever will.
