Who else dissects candy bars?

With malt balls, I like to do the opposite. I bite the Whopper in half and then lick and suck out most of the malt center until just the soft chocolate shell is left.

As for other candies, most of my favorites are seasonal (e.g., Cadbury Mini Eggs and Mint M&Ms) and are available only for a limited time during the year. Thus, I try to make the experience of eating them last as long as possible. For example, with Cadbury Mini Eggs, it’s just not enough to pop one in your mouth, crunch it up, and gobble it down(although I admit to sometimes doing that). You have to savor them. I do this by either sucking them so the candy coating and then the chocolate underneath slowly dissolves in my mouth; biting them in half and–like I do with Whoppers–licking and sucking out most of the center; or delicately biting off and eating the candy coating until just the chocolate remains which I then pop in mouth where it slowly dissolves.

As Calvin pointed out to Suzie Derkins, “Disassembling your food into its component parts before eating it certifies you as a grade-A Nimrod.”

:dubious:

Are you me?

Ah ha! A—

But really, than you for all the replies. Btw, here is a newer thread, about the same thing.

The big Kit Kat bars are the best yet made for dissassembling. **Hal briston ** should be appearing in this thread some time soon. His OCD candy threads are semi-legendary.

I, too, dissect my candy bars, particularly Snickers bars.

I think this is the book you want  .

Book? What is book?

:smack: Gee, would probably be helpful to put in the link to said book rather than make you guess… http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0060936754/103-8121810-1454250?v=glance
