I don’t know…having a bouncer wait outside the door? I think that would annoy the hell out of me. I don’t want to sleep with a hired woman knowing that there’s a bouncer outside impatiently waiting for me to finish up.
I’m surprised you didn’t find your wallet missing after all that.
I came pretty close, wandering around drunk in the Red Light District in Amsterdam shortly after my divorce. Some of the women there are… yeah.
Thankfully, I soon discovered a truism about towns with legalized prostitution: the tourist girls are easy.
From your story, it sounds like this woman was a con artist rather than a prostitute.
That was my guess too. Prostitutes are not shy about offering their services, this was too elaborate to be a simple sex for money scheme.
Wonderful! Let me tell you about this great new religion that gives you hoards of virgins upon leaving this petty life…
He’s not waiting impatiently because you pay for how long you want her for. And I’m not sure if he waits right outside the door (doubt it) or just nearby or something.
That was a con artist, not a prostitute. Prostitutes don’t want to spend an entire evening playing first date with you unless you are paying for it. They tend to be relatively upfront about what they are about. Or so I hear.
I have. I had my first experience while backpacking in Europe, I stopped by Amsterdam at the end of my trip. I was considering it before I arrived there since I was 25 and still a virgin and obsessing over that fact.
I wandered the streets wrestling with my thoughts and emotions. As I wandered through the Red Light District I was still ambivalent about it until I reached the breaking point. I stopped at one of the doors halfway down one of the streets. I vaguely remember what the woman looked like, but I certainly remember the experience as bad, awkward and cold. She acted a bit like it was a chore, which I’m sure it was. Not a good first time, but then I have no other point of reference.
I left feeling better that I’d finally lost my virginity, but otherwise dissatisfied with the experience. A few hours later I thought I should try again so that my only sexual experience in my life wouldn’t be all bad. I went for another wander until I saw one the most beautiful women I’d seen in my short life. She was a spectacular Spanish goddess, stunning brown eyes and long black hair. She was smiling seductively and gesturing at me to come over. That was enough to close the deal for me.
My experience with her was completely different, she was sweet, gentle and sexy. She made me feel fantastic. She made me feel alive. We laughed. We kissed. She made me forget that I was paying and it was all a lie.
Um, I think I’ll stop there.
People always say this, and I think there’s some truth to it. But if you took the total amount of money I’ve spent on my girlfriend and divided it by the number of times we’ve had sex, she is well, I don’t want to say “cheap”, but extremely economical.
(the key is not getting married without a pre-nup. Or maybe just not getting married at all)
Personally? No. I do have an aquaintance who did many years ago and ended up at the wrong end of some blackmail due to it. Needless to say, his experience made me more than a little wary of the idea.
Does anyone watch the HBO documentary and show Cathouse? About the Bunny Ranch in Nevada?
I find that show freakin’ fascinating and I’d be interested if anyone here has gone to the Bunny Ranch or another Nevada legal brothel.
It blows my mind that men will pay $1000 for a fuck. It’s truly amazing to me!
You are new to Nevada extremes? You have never seen someone tip the taxi $100 for a ride acoss the street? $200 for a bowl of soup? $1.99 for breakfast? (That was one dollar and 99¢) You have never seen anyone ask for a two dollar comp, cash it and walk out?
Do I know anyone who has gone to a legal brothel? My spouse (A woman, I am an old man.) goes with co-workers to Wild Horse after work for drinks. They sometimes talk politics with prostitutes as most want a tax to help the state and discourage anti-prostitution movements.
I have. I don’t pick up street prostitutes, but I’ve used services before. It’s fairly standard stuff. They’re listed in the yellow pages. The girl shows up, you give her around $200 for an hour and you fuck. Then she leaves. There is no awkwardness or anything to discuss afterwards.
They’re usually very attractive women. When you’re single and not getting any, sometimes $200 is much better than the alternative of trying to pick up some girl in a bar for a one night stand. And really, you’re probably a lot safer with the professional. Most of them take “safe sex” a helluva lot more seriously than some chick you can bring home from the saloon at 2AM.
It’s not a big deal, in my opinion.
I plan on doing this sometime in the next year or so. I’m lucky enough that I don’t normally have to pay for sex in order to get it but the Bunny Ranch sounds like an incrediblly fun way to waste a boat load of cash.
BTW: It’s more like $2500 for a fuck. At least that’s what I see them charge on the show.
To the OP:
Yeah I’ve paid for it three times in my life.
Twice it was an awful experience. Once it was freak’n great.
The one time it was great was because I just got lucky and happened upon a hooker who was actually horny and really felt like getting laid. So there was a mutual attraction there.
I know how obtuse that sounds, but trust me there are circumstances surrounding the event that lead me to believe this is true.
As an Aside, How many of us have “paid” for sex due to bad choices that resulted in the loss of a relationship, job, friends, etc?
That’s a subject for a different thread. Here I want to discuss sex as a commodity, without any of the emotional issues that come with a relationship. I don’t want it to get sidetracked.
Sorry, not trying to hijack. Yes I have Paid for sex.
What were the circumstances? Was it a good or bad experience?
For me it was the night of graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Good times!
