Who, if anyone, do I have a lawsuit against?

LCD apparently in the eyes of the OP is Lackadaisical Care Physician.

Sometimes, when their cars go kaput, people remain homebound until it gets fixed. Or they have to come up with alternate arrangements, like having a friend drive them around.

In your situation, since your wheelchair is essential to your mobility, you should call your insurance provider and ask if they can get a loaner wheelchair to you until yours gets repaired. Mention that you’ve already had several accidents and you’re afraid you might seriously injury yourself. If that doesn’t work, call a social service agency such as United Way to see if they can assist.

How could you not know you had a broken femur?

Has Broomstick visited you lately?

I thought smeghead was joking.

Have you thought about suing your parents? They probably should have raised you to know better about not using a broken wheelchair once you’d already fallen out of it a few times. I’d have papers served to them toot suite if I were in your shoes (Adidas?).

People who behave like victims whenever something negative happens to them, are typically unhappy people, not fun to be around, don’t have strong healthy relationships with other people, and typically don’t get very far in life because they don’t own their own life.

And since all that are not etv78 is they, etv78 should sue everyone. In the larger sense, aren’t we all guilty of not informing etv78 that the chair was unsafe? I know I didn’t do everything I could have, and neither did Little_Pig, I’ll bet.

Maybe you should ask your daughters to call around to local ambulance chasers.

But he’s got a point - even my kid’s stroller has required maintenance, cleaning and oiling the axles and joint to keep it rolling smoothly. Had you kept it in a good state of repair?

At this point I’m just picturing ETV sitting in his broken chair furiously hitting the report button every 60 seconds to try and get us all yelled at for not taking his problem seriously.

… Yet your first reaction is trying to figure out who you can sue. :dubious:

Not to mention I’m pretty sure he posted not too long ago about wanting to sue somebody else about something.

I will ask you what your monetary damages are, that you can provide the court as real, incurred damages due to a 24 hour delay in diagnosing an injury, that you did to yourself.

Suing someone is all about the monetary damages that you can show. Pain and suffering are sometimes allowed, in conjunction with actual real damages but are rarely given just because somebody was wrong.

You, etv78, are responsible for falling out of your chair and breaking your leg. You are also the person who failed to communicate the severity of your injuries to the ER personnel.

If I were you,** etv78**, I would get a lawyer and just sue the fuck out of myself.

My comment was actually because I thought he was the guy who was talking about suing the garage that changed his oil and screwed up something minor. I probably have him mixed up with someone else. I don’t care enough to check.

It was an autocorrect mistake. It was supposed to say PCP. Primary Care Physician.

You really are coming across as too stupid to be allowed to use a wheelchair by yourself. This is seriously making me doubt the integrity of the first part of your whining post.

Riddle:
Q. How many times does etv have to fall out of his wheelchair before he concludes that it might be unsafe to use?

A. Infinity. It’s not unsafe until “they” tell him it is.

You could use crutches, but I suspect their operation might be a bit too technical for you to grasp.

Reported.
