Who is Christopher Lloyd to you?

Character actor Christopher Lloyd has created some very memorable and iconic characters over the years. Who do you most identify him with.

You forgot James Caldwell.

Well I did include “Someone Else”. But you should just vote for Rev Jim in that case.

Before or after Harvard?

Always and forever Reverend Jim.

Bobby Wheeler: [Bobby helps Jim fill out his test] Have you ever experienced loss of consciousness, hallucinations, dizzy spells, convulsive disorders, fainting, or periods of loss of memory?
Reverend Jim Ignatowski: Hasn’t everyone?
Elaine O’Connor-Nardo: Put no.
Bobby Wheeler: Mental illness or narcotic addiction?
Reverend Jim Ignatowski: That’s a tough choice.
Elaine O’Connor-Nardo: Put no!
Bobby Wheeler: OK, that’s it! You ready for the test.
Reverend Jim Ignatowski: I thought that was the test!

Somewhere between Doc Brown and Reverend Jim, but I went with Doc because BTTF is one of my favouritest movies ever so it’s in my thoughts more frequently.

He was also in a brief TV show that never got very far called Best of the West.

My first thought is Reverend Jim then I start to wonder if you mean the producer who’s name always confuses me and makes me think of Reverend Jim.

Doc Brown. I saw Taxi before BttF, but I was wee at the time, and didn’t quite build up the ability to connect actors, yet.

Reverend Jim.

the guy who doesn’t know what a yellow light means. And kills hostages to show that his intentions are sincere.

In descending order
Doc. Brown
Judge Doom
Kruge

I saw Legend Of The Lone Ranger before seeing him in anything else, but (a) that’s clearly not the right answer; and (b) c’mon, he’s Doc Brown.

Arthur’s boss in the season premiere of the live action teevee show The Tick from 2001. The greatest thing in television history. Only lasted nine episodes.

I, or course, had to say Doc Brown, but it always bothers me that he gets little respect for his portrayal of Kruge in Star Trek III. For me he played the most realistic Klingon ever: A cold, sadistic, misogynistic, human & Vulcan hating, power craving killer*!* And in the ‘Someone Else’ category I always loved his early role as the lunatic Taber in *One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest *(in which he also starred alongside an early Danny DeVito).

I still remember saying to myself “Rev Jim as a Klingon???”

Well I did include Taber as one of the 8 choices for just that reason. That and it was his first role. I agree he was an awesome Klingon, but he’ll always be …

… Rev Jim to me as I had the same moment during Star Trek III.

Me too. The writer/producer should have been an option.

Doc Brown, followed by Hacker, in that PBS kids’ show.

I put Jim (though I actually said Doc Brown’s name first). I think we balanced it out.

I guess to me he’s “Christopher Lloyd,” but I feel like I have to say, “Doc Brown” for people who might not know whom I mean. (There’s another Christopher Lloyd who was a TV producer; and not everyone knows Taxi I guess.)

Other: The polite, well-dressed liquor store robber from Twenty Bucks.
