This is probably the only place in the universe that would say that Fergie is ugly yet Ugly-Betty is hot(ter).

Straight female and all, but I could have said this to a T. Fergie would be like Bridget Jones’ description… would be a blast in the sack, fun to be around, have more than enough going on intellectually and still could do either cute/adorable or as an all-out vixen.
Beyonce’ is just manufactured all to hell and she seems to be tipping perilously close to the parody edge that’s someone like Janet Jackson now.
So… either an incredibly beautiful woman, or an average looking woman with incredibly large breasts. Sorry, but I don’t see the two as interchangeable.

If I’m reading the OP correctly, it’s asking “Who is hotter?”- not “Who is more beautiful?”. To the latter question, the answer (if forced to choose between the two names we’re given) is Beyonce. But “hotness” to me requires a not insignificant degree of sex appeal, and frankly, Beyonce just ain’t driving that bus. For hotness qua sex appeal, Fergie’s got it in spades. True, in five years she’ll probably have hit the wall, but until that day, she’s spankeriffic.
Classy? No. A natural timeless beauty? Nope. Hot? Watch her work that little plaid skirt and then let’s talk.
Fergie. I’ve seen her in interviews when BEP were here in SA and she came across as real fun. Beyonce, on the other hand, when out here, came across as a high maintenance princess.

Naw, Beyonce’s been writing and producing her own music since she was a teenager, and she’s not a half bad actor either, so you know she’s got some talent. With the way she handles her career, I’d guess she’s got some brains, too.
Fergie thinks that tasty is spelled T-A-S-T-E-Y and Duchess is spelt D-U-T-C-H-E-S-S. She probably is aware that these are incorrect spellings, but even the fact that she thought it was a good idea to use these incorrect spellings speaks volumes. She’s pissed herself in public and been addicted to meth. She is the very epitome of nasty. She’s trailer trash in the most derogatory way possible.

Ah, I was just talking about her ‘look.’ As far as any talent goes, not knowing an incredible amount about her, I’ll defer to those that do and agree that it certainly comes across that she has a fair amount. But otherwise, all I see outwardly is a screaming sign saying BEWARE! SUPER-DUPER HIGH MAINTENANCE!! Mileage varying here obviously. 
Gwen Stefani blows them both away. So do Neko Case and Jenny Lewis, but not enough people know who they are.

If you’re going to make those implications, make them right. Beyonce has a stage Dad (Matthew), not a stage mom. And Beyonce has far surpassed the limits of a stage-dad managed career. This is not Jessica Simpson we’re talking about. Absence any evidence to the contrary, I’m giving the credit to Beyonce.
I only brought up the talent in response to you saying that Fergie would be “fun to be around, have more than enough going on intellectually and still could do either cute/adorable or as an all-out vixen.” Not that talent and brains make someone fun to be around, but the smarts do help a bit. As you say, milage varying.
I do agree Beyonce could be high maintenance. I’m more anti-Fergie than pro-Beyonce as far as looks go, anyway.
I know this has got lots of hits, but I agree with Dead Badger and Sophistry that this seems to be a spammer pimping for a website. Googling his username lists a slew of locations where he’s posted the same thing, addressing people to the same website.
I have therefore disabled the links, closed the thread, and banned the user. Normally, we’d also cause the thread to disappear, but this seems to have got almost a hundred hits, so we’ll leave it readable but closed.
