For starters I want to say that supporting criminals and illegal immigrants is not selflessness but stupidity and foolishness and liberals seem to support criminals and illegal immigrants. There is nothing selfish about preferring a civilized society and way of living. It is what normal humans prefer. Who would desire to have a bunch of thugs come in and do violent harm to their family.
Is it being selfish to want the border under control? is it selfish to want crime under control. Well we know we can’t stop it but is there anything wrong with trying to keep it under control?!
Is it selfish for people to want to send their kids to the school they want them to go to?
What about liberals supporting rioters for burning down peoples businesses? Is that selflessness or evil?
Is it selfish for a president to want to put the citizens of the country he is in charge of first? Or is selflessness for a president like Biden to be a sell out to other countries for his own personal gain?
Is it selfish for taking pride in the country you were born in? Is it selfish for taking pride in the achievements this country has achieved, such as being the first to go to the moon?
While both parties might be guilty of selfishness in my honest opinion the liberals take the lead big time in selfishness. Not only that,… but their reckless thinking is very disturbing to me to say the least!
Data from the Center for Migration Studies shows that two-thirds of the nation’s 10.2 million unauthorized immigrants entered legally, either with a visa or a permit, but overstayed.
Key point.
Abstract
The study found that undocumented immigrants had substantially lower crime rates than native-born citizens and legal immigrants across a range of felony offenses. Relative to undocumented immigrants, U.S.-born citizens are over 2 times more likely to be arrested for violent crimes, 2.5 times more likely to be arrested for drug crimes, and over 4 times more likely to be arrested for property crimes.
Why no anger for those who hire undocumented workers rather than documented?
Generally speaking, I’d say Republicans slightly more. Much of their stance is based off of, “I cannot suffer any inconvenience.” That’s why they fought so hard against even wearing a mask during Covid - not realizing that being hospitalized and needing lung transplants is a much greater inconvenience. Same for gun rights; no amount of mass shootings can make them less pro-gun.
As for Democratic “selfishness” - I’m not sure if it’s the right term, but it sometimes shows up in attitudes of “I will take from Joe and give to Kevin, regardless of whether it’s fair to Joe or not.”
I would say killing a million Americans because of a hissy fit regarding mask wearing as kind of selfish, but then I would have to provide a cite for this and I’m not really interested in proving that evil people that they are, in fact, evil.
