Yeah QED, I wasn’t that great when I left. I had just been diagnosed with a brain tumor and wasn’t really sure what was going to happen to me. Three brain surgeries, radiation, and continued monthly stabs later (not injections, but STABS to the butt - deep tissue, thick gel medication, huge needle - OWIE! ), and I am almost good as new. Until the remaining inoperable tumor dies, I will have to have these shots. I am okay with it though, it keeps me alive. My condition is so rare that Stanford periodically meets with the U of U Medical Center to study my case. I am a freak of nature. HA! Too bad I wasted my odds on medical junk instead of winning the lottery.

Old days like way back when SDMB was on AOL (someone remind me - 1996 or 97?) and was pretty active until 2004 or 2005 I think?

I dunno, I really suck at time frames.
