Colin Farrell is just two years older than me, and he’s really my only celebrity crush. Yum yum yum x1000.
My second (thinkingly close in age) choice would be Vincent D’Onofrio, but I was surprised to find out he’s almost my mom’s age, so oh well. Almost everyone else I thought of was quite a bit older than me, too.
So just for fun, I looked up people born the same year as me to see who is cute. LOL. Hmm, Ginnifer Goodwin, though I don’t think I’ve seen anything by her. She is cute as a button. Dunno who this Santiago Cabrera guy is, but he’s very nice-looking. Kristofer Hivju, never saw him before, but he looks like fun (I guess he’s in “Thrones,” but I’m avoiding that for now out of general principle.) Damn, I had no idea Ashton Kutcher was almost exactly my age, but sooo not my type…
Ooh! I just looked up Ricky Whittle from “American Gods,” and he’s just a couple years younger than me, so I guess that works. But almost every guy in that show is very sexy in his own way (it’s a nice show for dirty old ladies like me in that respect).
Ginnifer Goodwin is awesomely beautiful in her Snow White/warrior role on OUAT, but in her modern ‘present day’ Mom persona, her round head and odd short hair makes her look like the mom in Family Circle comic strip, lol.
Hmm. Well, my longtime celebrity crush is Keira Knightley but, although I hate to admit it, she’s young enough to be my daughter. So here I’ll say Amanda Pays (five years older than me), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (three years older), Elisabeth Shue (one year older), and Sandra Bullock, Monica Bellucci and Courteney Cox (all born in the same year I was), and Tea Leoni (two years younger than me).
You win the thread. Can’t get any more age-appropriate than that! She’s 3 years younger than I am, and still hot as hell, so I’m listing her as well.
Also on board with Valerie Bertinelli, on whom I’ve been crushing since I first saw “One Day at a Time” when I was 12 and she was 15.
I was shocked to learn that Dana Delaney is too old for me (by the parameters of this game) by 2 years. I don’t care.
As for someone who hasn’t been mentioned yet, I find Alex Kingston (River Song of “Dotor Who,” Elizabeth Corday of “ER”) quite alluring. She is 4 months my senior.
I liked her in the Johnny Cash movie, as his first wife.
She’s popped up in town occasionally. Her husband, Josh Dallas, was born and raised in the area. He and my little brother went to high school together, even though they didn’t run in the same circles. Dallas has a role in the Marvelverse. He played one of the Warriors Three in the Thor movies.
I wouldn’t kick him out of bed for chomping Doritos, that’s for sure, I’m just going by the parameters of the OP. He kinda reminds me of one of my high school sweethearts, TBH.
Oh, here’s a bit of an obscure one. Rachael Harris, from Lucifer and occasionally Suits. She reminds me a lot of Julia Duffy, only even nicer but just as funny. She’s about a year older than me.
As my first choice Sarah Michelle Gellar was outside the parameters given my age of 55, I would be thrilled beyond measure if Michelle Yeoh (age 54) the starship captain on the upcoming Star Trek Discovery, would accept my crushdom.
Two additions, with only 1 being technically eligible for inclusion. That one would be well-known, ubiquitous voice actress Tara Strong, who is 2 days younger than I.
Out of the OP’s stated age range, but I’m listing anyway, is lovely actress Milana Vayntrub, who is 14 years younger. But Hollywood has never had an issue with May-December romances, especially of the older male/younger female variety.
