Who likes noses?

As old Poppy used to say “The nose is the fleshy hood orniment on the car that is your head”

mmmm… I love noses.
I lack a strong nose myself, small bridge, button-like. So a good, large nose is one of the things that I notice first. I think Owen Wilson has the hottest nose I’ve ever seen. Crooked, with a small scar from when he had broken it a while back. I’m also fond of noses that are low on the face, like David Duchovney. For some reason it reminds me a cute koala bear.

You now know one of the reasons I am madly in love with Alan Rickman (aside from his fabulous voice, but he could lose the moustache in that picture.) I liked him best in Dogma. Yum!

I also find David Duchoveney gorgeous. Gorgeous enough to have actually watched Evolution. And that’s saying alot.

You know, I didn’t realize it fully until now, but noses are a big deal to me too. David Duchovny’s nose is glorious. Same with Liam Neeson.

Thought mouths, and eyes…well, it’s the whole package thing…

I don’t. We should all look like Erik from Phantom of the Opera!

If you have a nose fetish, have a look at this site (Mostly big-nosed women, though):

Huh. I used to consider Richard Gere’s nose as Kowala-like. Guess I’m not the only one!

Mmm… schnozzes…
I also like a decent nose on a man. None of those tiny button things or fleshy smushy pig like snouts for me.

My first crush was towards a guy a grade ahead of me (I was in 7th grade) who had a lovely hawkish slavic beak. Beautiful.

And the actors others have listed? Liam Neeson and David Duchovny top my list also.

I have always played with my girlfriends’ noses. I poke them, bite them, pinch them, all in a playful way of course. My first girlfriend let me seal my lips around her nose and blow real hard, inflating her nasal passages. She said it felt “weird”.

My preference is for a strong, regal, attention-getting nose on a woman. But I guess button-noses can be cute too. I’m happy with my own nose. It’s not too big, not too small, it’s juuuuust right.

You might be interested in knowing that the Arabic languages has two words for beauty. The classical Arabic philologists say that husn refers specifically to the beauty of the eyes, while jamâl refers to the beauty of the nose.

I’ve been known to appreciate a well-defined nose here and there (on women).

Wow. This is my lucky day. I have a “strong” nose and have been pretty self conscious of it my whole life. I’m glad the see at least a few people like that kind of thing.

I will wear my nose proudly from now on.

I can’t stand those little turned-up button noses. A well-formed nose gives a woman the character that is essential to beauty.

So far, nobody has mentioned Barbra Streisand or Ellen Barkin. As for me, I make a general exception to my not liking blondes, for two blondes with great noses that are a little bigger than usual: Helen Hunt and Lisa Kudrow. Their atttractive noses have won me over despite their blondeness.

One of the reasons Indian women are so beautiful is their well-formed noses. Sri Devi is considered one of the most beautiful actresses ever, and just look at her nose. The same goes for Karishma Kapoor, whose nose is even longer and yet it is just perfect.

I think Loreena McKennitt is totally hot.

I think men with large noses are very attractive. My husband has one, and he’s always hated it. I think it’s beautiful.
