Apparently, my house does not exist according to them.
It must get its information solely from the mail, as it has my deceased mom and in-laws, who never lived there but we did have their mail sent over after they died. It also has my ex-friend/roommate who lived there for 10 months 19 years ago, but was not on any official paperwork. (I still get junk mail for him.)
It also has who I believe are the previous owners as “current residents”. I’ve owned the house for 21 years.
In other words, the site is one step above totally useless. It does have me and my wife living there, I’ll give them that!
Same here. But no surprise. We are not in an incorporated town and do not get mail delivery.
Mine doesn’t show any previous owners because there weren’t any. My wife and I show up twice, apparently from variations on our first name. (One says I’m in my 50s and shows a bunch of relatives, the other says I’m in my 60s and shows no relatives.) Then one that looks like a mashup of our first names. Also my stepson and youngest stepdaughter, who lived with us when we first moved here, and have moved back temporarily once or twice. Then finally someone with a last name I don’t even recognize, allegedly related to the step kids.
I live with my gf in her home. For the last month my daughter has been living with us.
Going to Spokeo, I was shocked to see they say 3 people live at our address. How could they know about my daughter? Turns out they don’t, they have gf listed twice with two slightly different ages.
I looked at some of the listings for nearby properties - if they’re to be believed (HAH!) My next door neighbor is hiding 11 people in his house, since we only know of mom, dad, and 2 kids there, but Spokeo says there are 15 current residents.
Yep, not the most accurate info.
Apparently there are 15 of us living here… and I thought we would be empty nesters when my youngest goes to college next week. Also, I don’t live here but my brother-in-law does. Only my wife and daughter and a bunch of apparently old owners.
