Who Played At Brisbane City Hall on the 12th July 1973?
The only other information i have is that they also played the Concert for Bangladesh. (Also, Brisbane, Australia in case thats ambiguous to people who don’t live here)

This was asked to me by a friend and i have been totally unable to find an answer. Its now starting to drive me slightly mad. So does anyone know?

Googling only found a similar thread on Lonely Planet. It’s essentially homework help and goes unanswered. Does your friend have the same professor as that OP’s boyfriend?

ETA: I’d try contacting the OP of that thread, since she probably figured it out eventually. The professor in that case wanted the students to look it up in the Courier Mail on microfiche (hey, remember microfiche?), so you could always head to the library if the Internet fails you.

When I found the little bit I did, I did it while checking Harrison, Shankar, Dylan and Preston. The first three almost definately are out. I gave up before checking everything on Billy Preston and didn’t check Leon Russell at all.

I’m going to assume that the reason this question gets asked is because the answer isn’t on the intraweb.

The only musicians I can find that played at the Brisbane City Hall in 1973 are Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee, but I can’t find the date. I found out that they played it at all in an article on Melanie playing there in 1976.
